I am trying to stay positive. But I really do not know one thing we excel at, like better than average.
Shooting - nope
Defense- nada
Offense- nope
Passing - nope
Driving - nope
Deep rotation - nope
Cardio - nah
Physical - not a chance
Free throws? - have not looked at this but maybe

Like make us good at something, if we have offense issues make us the most elite defensive unit you can.
I am so tilted I need a break, I swear someone has done something to curse UK sports and if it is me. I repent.

I think asking what do we do well is a honest question. What kind of threads would you like to see? We’re losing. Team sucks. It’s actually mild on here compared to what I was expecting.

Did fans skip the angry stage because expectations have been lowered a long time ago?

It's a message board hoss. People need/like/want to vent. If you watched last night and are complacent, you're probably not very competitive. That's fine, just watch and treat it socially. Btw...most of those "kids" and coaches are making millions. To use a phrase from our coach, they know the assignment.

Losing to teams in the top 100? Having the most “injured” players? The best Chess players? The best pillow fighters?

That’s the entire list I’m afraid.

You can acknowledge they suck (they do) w/o quitting on them. What does even quitting on them mean? I'm still going to watch. I'm still going to support. And if they keep playing like this, I will continue to say they suck. Why? Because they suck.

The team played solid defense last night with one exception...finishing the stops with a defensive rebound. JQ and Diabate could help with that and this team isn't ever going to be a top 10 team without becoming a lock down defensive team since we lack shooters.

Well lord knows there have been close to zero positive takeaways from this season so far, so please tell us what we should be discussing instead? How nice coach Pope is?

Grieve. Apparently we grieve well after a loss. Just watched the post game presser with Pope. All 6 mins of it. In that 6 mins, he legit uttered the phrase "we have to let our guys grieve this loss"...Seriously man. It's just sooooooo soft. Get out of your feels for 5 mins and coach some freaking basketball like a grown a$$ed man.

Talk about the Ides of March, in the first round NC State trailed Pepperdine 57-51 with 57 seconds left in what was the first of two overtimes.

State had a steal and got fouled and hit two foul shots cutting it to four and then started sending Pepperdine to the free throw line. Pepperdine led
59-55 with 29 seconds left and blew it at the free throw line back to back trips blowing the front end of two one and ones and State sends it to a second OT and finds new life.

Not an excuse for last night's loss.
NC State played in the best conference in CBB in '83.
The UNC team from last night wouldn't have been .500.
