Thanks.

Just below the schedule is an article about the toughest schedules in 2013, and they had UK's as #1. My question is we played Bama that year, (and normal powers LSU and Auburn in 14 and 15) and play Bama again this year. Why do we have Bama again so soon?

By the way, in 13 we lost an SEC game by a TD the week before Bama tore us up, and another the week after by 6 points, an easier game in between those two might have made a difference.

This is exactly why we don't need to be scheduling P5 teams out of conference. At Bama, at Florida, at Tenn, at Louisville (and at Missouri, but who cares). That's enough road game heft for any schedule, much less a program trying to dig itself out of a generational hole.

For example, next year Alabama plays these road games: at Tenn, at LSU, at Arkansas, at Ole Miss. We get schedules like we're a top ten program and wonder why we can't get over the hump...

True. I thought when papa brooks was most successful was when the schedule was manipulated in the manner that allowed us to get 3 or 4 wins and then fight for two or three in conference.
