Sadly, this is all I found. If there was a bigger one we will find out with the next rankings. Can't imagine UConn staying in the top 25.
Thanks dude. 🙂↔️

So 17 spots. Uconn needs to drop to atleast #20. That will set the record.

Also we should have known to fire his *** back then. wtf
We never got another championship. Just wasted 12 years or 4,380 days or 105,000 hours to SUCK.

I watched some of the duke Memphis game and thought they looked like a good team. Really surprised they finished 8.

Now, it is easy for us to sit on the sideline and poo poo a team that played in a tournament of heavy-hitters and lost. Our only game of note is Duke and the rest has been junior varsity wins.

I bet they get a charity week in the T25. I wouldn't. ...but mostly because I can't stand Hurley and would use it as a teachable moment to say "This is what happens to unhinged Richards. No one likes an unhinged Richard. Don't be an unhinged Richard."

UConn could have a long December too. Baylor, Texas, Gonzaga, Xavier, and Butler.
Ouch.

I recall UL was highly ranked in 86/87 and lost 3 in Alaska I think. Don’t recall how far they fell.
I don't remember either but I do remember they maybe #2 or #3 to start the season in the AP and was Sports Illustrated's pre-season #1 and ended up not even making the tournament which was a first at that time.. Also around 10-20 or so years ago, Virginia was ranked #2 in AP well into mid-December and missed the tournament and was the record for the highest ranked team not getting in. Also, edited when I saw Blueheart above, completely forgot about UNC being ranked #1 out of the gate a couple years ago and didn't make the tournament.

We may see it on Monday after #2 UConn loses 3 in a row this week, all to unranked teams, the last one by 18 points, and are now 4-3 with their best win being over Sacred Heart.
Plenty of teams have fallen from high ranks to unranked just like this. In fact UNC just accomplished this feat in like what 2021? The year after Nova beat them in the NC, AARP member Bacot returned and they were preseason 1 or 2 and missed the dance completely.

Damn with that schedule and how they are playing they may not make the tournament if they drop 3-4 of those games. They will have a couple opportunities in the Big East but not many. They could always win the conference tourney though.

The question wasn’t going from the top to unranked over a number of weeks. It was about doing so in just 1 week.

I’m pretty sure It didn’t take UNC long, they lost a couple in a row quickly that year. It was not a tournament though but from Nov 28-Dec 18 they lost 5 of 6 to tank out of the rankings from like 2 to unranked. That was 2019-2020, 2022-2023 they lost 4 in a row from nov 25- December 4 that sent them from 2 to unranked.
