Money you have spent going to see our Cats in the NCAA tournament? I have only been to one, 2010 E8 game in Syracuse, and I spent 300 on one ticket. I was just doing some late night searching for F4 tickets in Indianapolis, and they are absolutely through the roof.

I've only been to the Final Four once, and that was in New Orleans in 1993.
I paid $125 each for 4 mezzanine seats that seemed to be about 2 miles from the court.

Losing in the semis was bad enough, but seeing UNC handed a title by Michigan
made me nauseous...

2012 Final Four

$1000 for 4 tix
$1200 for hotel
$1000 meals and gas

Plus my credit card was hacked at a restaurant in NOLA for $800. Got that money back though.

Mine would have been 2012 as well but we have friends that live in New Orleans, so we had no expenditures regarding lodging. We were two rows off the floor, to the left of the Kansas student section by the tunnel for the title game and only paid $125 per seat from a scalper (monsoon had just hit and he still had a lot of tix to get rid of.). While Bourbon Street took a lot of our money, we were quite lucky that trip. However...

The trip to Arlington last year takes the cake. Hotel was expensive, tickets were fairly expensive (Final 4 uppers $175/Title Game lowers $225), food and drinks were expensive, and to make matters worse, we lost in the title game. Also, we thought it was quite strange that the city of Arlington had no liquor stores. We had to drive to Fort Worth (awesome town and only a few miles away) just to buy a couple bottles of bourbon.

I'm thinking Indy might take over the top spot this year, on ticket prices alone.

I'm expecting that if the Cats roll in to Indy 38-0, strips might not be touched for under 1500 apiece. I'm having a hard time buying tickets now, because if, IF, we do get put out, there is no way that kinda money would be recouped on those tickets. I'm really split on getting tickets to the Regional Final, or risking it, and buying them for Indy.
