For me: Georgia Dome, Memorial Stadium, Municipal Stadium, Pitt Stadium, Riverfront Stadium, Three Rivers Stadium, Veterans Stadium, and Yankees Stadium.

I wish I had made it to Tigers Stadium and Shea Stadium having watched so many games on TV on WOR. No one took me to Forbes Field :-(

What stadiums have you been to that no longer exist?

Connie Mack died fifty years ago. If I may suggest this book, To Every Thing a Season: Shibe Park and Urban Philadelphia. It’s a sociology book at heart but a fascinating story.

Veterans Stadium and that's it. It was in the mid 80s, I was in the upper level and I remember watching a guy throw a Cowboys fan down the steps. That's the last time I've ever been to an NFL game. I've never been to the Linc. While I love the Eagles, Go Birds, I prefer Saturdays in Happy Valley to Sundays in South Philly.

I am pretty sure Byrd is still there, expanded, with a name change.

I saw the Stones at the Vet. Rush at the Spectrum, is that still sitting there?

Tropicana Fields days are numbered. Milton took off the roof and since they only have 2 years left no one wants to pay for the repairs.

Both the Vet and the Spectrum are no longer existing.

Baseball: Cooper Stadium (AAA--Columbus), Connie Mack, the Vet, Riverfront, Three Rivers. While Anaheim Stadium is still there, the changers are such that it's almost a new stadium (I saw it in its football configuration, though it was a baseball game I went to). Add to that Pitt Stadium for football. Other sports--soccer--Rheinstadion in Duesseldorf, Bokelberg in Moenchengladbach, Muengersdorf in Cologne, Volkspark in Hamburg. Hockey--the Civic Arena, the Spectrum (also basketball), Philadelphia Convention Hall (Firebirds), Cherry Hill Arena (original Jersey Devils). The single A stadium where the Charlotte Rangers (FSL) played too.

They converted Cole into the indoor practice facility for football.

My list - Yankee, Shea, Vet, Spectrum, Three Rivers, Igloo, Memorial, Cap Centre, Trop (soon to be RIP, just currently ripped), Metrodome, Meadowlands, Globe Life (still standing, used for soccer).

Forbes Field, Three Rivers (both baseball and football), Pitt Stadium (48-14 and others), Pittsburgh Civic Arena (the Igloo), Veterans Stadium (both baseball and football when PSU beat Temple in 1978), Old Mountaineer Field, Old Yankee Stadium.

Also the Orange Bowl watching the Dolphins beat the OJ Simpson led Bills.

Orange Bowl, Three Rivers, Pitt.

I've also been to Rich Stadium (or whatever it's called now) but it'll be gone soon. I'll get back to this thread in a couple years.

Isn't Joe Robbie Hard Rock Stadium now? Refurbished, but same Stadium?

For me...
Shea
Meadowlands
Orange Bowl
Spectrum
The Vet...I actually have a bolt from one of the seats at the Vet. My uncle (RIP) was a lifelong Philly sports fan, found it under his seat at one of the last Phillies games and gave it to me

Yep, same place. Once the Marlins got out of there, they could make it into a more intimate venue for football than the cavernous version they had when it was a dual-purpose stadium. If you had lower level seats for a football game there, the action seemed as far away as possible like watching a HS game on a field with a track ringing it.

Chicago Stadium and Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo. Maple Leaf Gardens…the building is still there but has been repurposed and is not used by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Soon to be: Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium.

Edit: sorry, got carried away. These are NHL arenas.

MLB: Tiger Stadium, Oakland Coliseum*, Three Rivers Stadium, Turner Field*, Olympic Stadium in Montreal*

NFL: Pontiac Silverdome, RCA Dome (Colts), Mile High Stadium

CFB: Old Meadowlands for a Kickoff Classic, I saw a few Motor City Bowls at the Silverdome, Colorado State's Hughes Stadium (that one's pretty off the radar).

----

*Still exists, in one form or another, but currently doesn't house a MLB team.

Dang, I forgot about the Silverdome, old Meadowlands, and Hoosier Dome. Saw PSU at the latter two--and the old Louisville stadium (Cardinal Stadium), which was also an AAA baseball stadium.
