Basically we ran into a solid team that was pissed off because of the loss to Michigan and focused to a level that they have not been at in a while to make sure it did not happen again. They started pounding inside and got immediate fouls on our BIGs. When we started coming back in the 2nd half, they had one possession where we were called for at least 4 fouls again hampering the play of the bigs.

Frankly, I wasn't all that disappointed. Ohio State hurt because we controlled the game, this one not so much, and yet, we gave ourselves a chance in both road games. If we play like that and like we did in the second half vs. Illini, I think we can finish the year on a positive note.

I agree. PU was better at almost every position (I give you that BMac could start for them) but NU battled hard. Sometimes you just get beat by better Jimmies and Joes. The key for NU is continuing to battle hard in their last 4 games.
