For me, it's the Miracle on Ice and it's not close. This is a great documentary about it.

1990 World Series game 4. Might never have one again for the Red team. I did get to see them play Pittsburgh in the NLCS though.
Oh we will get one brother. Might be this year.
Better question would be which one do I wish I could have watched live. My answer would be Magic vs. Larry in the NCAA title game and any of the Lakers vs. Celtics NBA finals matchups.
Miracle on Ice would have to be #1.
A few others would be 1975 UK vs IU regional final, Secretariat's Belmont, 2013 Iron Bowl, and Ali-Frazier I and III would all be near the top of the list.

I don't think people much younger than me understand about the Miracle on Ice is why it was such a huge upset. Imagine if we had the original Dream Team (not any since because not every top player plays), then understand that it wasn't a couple month thing but their jobs. The Russian players had no other options. The were "soldiers" in the Russian Army. That's how they kept amateur status which mattered back then. Once an American took a dollar to play they were no longer eligible. So basically a bunch of guys straight out of college beat the best players that had been working and playing together for years.
I offered to buy my daughter who was living in NYC at the time two tickets to the 2015 Belmont with Pharoah, but she couldn't get anybody interested to go with her. I would have loved to have been there myself.
This is my pick too. Alternatively, I'd choose UK's win over Duke in '78. I was less than a year old, but I'm sure my dad and grandpa had me parked in front of the television watching it.
