A friend of mine's watching the 1960s Batman television show for the first time ever and I'm annoying the hell out of him schooling him on the history of Batman in the Golden and Silver Age (the late 1930s to the early 1970s). Which got me thinking of this topic. XD
My picks:
5. The Hulk. His rogues are really underrated, especially the Leader. And what other hero often has every other Marvel hero as an enemy?
4. The Flash. I'm personally not a huge fan of his gallery, but hey, respect.
3. Superman. The Silver Age Lex Luthor's my favorite villain ever.
2. Spider-Man. Doctor Octopus is my favorite Spidey villain. He's what Peter might've become without the love and guidance that his aunt and uncle provided: great power, no responsibility.
1. Batman. Duh.
As far as teams go -- the FF have Doom, maybe the greatest supervillain ever, but to me, the X-Men reign supreme, at least from Claremont's run from '75 to '91.
Anyway, who are your picks?
