So we have about 36.5 hours left for portal if it goes through April 22nd. Do we see any last minute big names going into the portal in that period? I do not think so. We might see some guys that would be back up positions. We will either sign a guy or two currently there or Pope will wait till after NBA draft deadline to withdrawal on May 28th.

I got a feeling right now that it might be closer to May 28th than anything right now. Unless one of the guys Pope wants put pressure on Pope to pull the trigger or he will move on.

Hope none of our guys, would like to see a great player on a crappy team decide that he might be the missing piece for UK. And not to mention his soon to be Rock Star status he would get at UK.

Is he really that good? Serious question. Live in Louisville and they act like he's the savior of that program

Depends on what you mean by "that good" I guess. Probably not an all conference type, but he'd probably scrap for a starting PF role on most high major teams. Would fit UK's offense pretty well actually because he has been formidable from 3 and good in transition for a big. I do like his energy. Strongly doubt UK has any interest regardless, but UL fans keep waiting for confirmation he's returning...

My surprise player for 25 26 is Kam Williams. Potentially a Dominique Wilkins clone.

Thanks for your input. I like his size, energy, and how he runs the floor. I just didn't witness him dominate the glass or take his man off the dribble to score. But your assessment seems correct and might be ULs glue guy. Im surprised he hasn't announced his return yet

Kind of hope we don't see much.. because at this point, only our top25 competition really stands to get better, by adding guys from places like Wichita St and St. Mary's. Kentucky is more or less done, but there's a lot of schools (Like Duke), who could stand to bolster their lineups

Potentially a Dominique Wilkins clone ? Uh, if he doesn't have Nique's hops now, he never will have them. Elite athleticism and 45 inch verticals are not something you can obtain later in life. You are either born with it, or you don't have it.
Or, you know, the fact that one was a 6’0 PG and the other is a 6’8 SF?

They’re about as alike as Danny Devito and Arnold Schwarzenegger in Twins.

What in the wide world of sports? Dominique clone? I haven't seen a ton of Kam Williams film, but in no second have I seen a moment where that comparison makes any sense. Dominique Wilkins? Freakish athleticism is not what I think when I see Kam Williams play.

Trilly is REALLY going out in a limb there with his Ms. Cleo-like vagueness. His minions will claim Trilly victory now if/when anyone of value enters the portal. “Trilly called it!!!” Stop.

Think you are thinking of Dom Hawkins. Dom Wilkins the Atlanta Hawks superstar that was 6,7" forward at the time of all the greats like Bird, Magic and such.
