It just so happens I'm in the market for a new oven/stove and frig. Yea, every guys dream right? I've been looking at some Samsung's. This kind of thing tends to influence my thinking not to mention I'd rather buy American made then Korean. This is going to damage their rep, their market share, and the stock price.

Who updated the title? Hell is offensive now?
It's always been offensive, like for eternity and stuff...

Damnation of the soul? Check.
Perpetual torture? Check.
Excessive heat? Check.
High humidity? Check.
Various imps and demons to scare you? Check.

Yeah, I'd say hell is pretty offensive.

I don't think I will ever buy Samsung appliances again. I have a washer and dryer that are made by Samsung and they both have had issues in only a few years. The washer had the pump housing break and luckily I was around when it happened. I had water leaking all over the floor. It did this a day after the 1 year warranty was up, but they still covered the repair thankfully.
Now a couple years later and it sounds like the bearings are going out in it.

The dryer has some kind of auto sense thing to where it stops running when the clothes are dry. That stopped working after a couple years. So it's back to timed drying. I know it isn't the top of the line models, but when you spend over $600 each for a washer and dryer, you expect more then a couple years before they start having issues. Samsung needs to stick to electronics and perfecting them.

I bought the thing because Consumer Reports gives them a high rating. Contacted them and awaiting a response. I suspect there will be a recall of sorts. I'd be happy with a refund.

Good old Korean manufacturing.
Actually we have an LG oven and it is amazing. I have heard Samsung stuff is garbage though. Read reviews before you buy stuff people. The internet will tell you what actually works. If you just show up at the store you will either buy the shiniest looking most expensive thing or whatever the store is pushing that particular week.

Well, UkBob just said in the post right above yours that he did his due diligence by checking with Consumer Reports. They gave it a good rating, so he bought one.
Kind of Samsungs your idea out of the water, don't it.
