What type of team quits when losing a freshman? That's pathetic**

One that doesn't deserve the Sweet 16.

They brought boys to a mans game.

Thanks, LowFatMilk...

I'm certainly glad SOMEBODY on our board took the high road and complimented a worthy opponent. Trimble was outstanding and kept Maryland running fairly even with us. When he went down, it clearly was a different team.

The Terps didn't quit, they just were more dependent on their standout player than WVU is. We might have outlasted Maryland by a few points even if he hadn't been injured. That job sure got easier in his absence, though. Conceding that doesn't make the result any less final. What a nice change of pace for WVU to be on the beneficial end of such a break for once!

I saw no one quit. As a matter of fact MD stepped up their defensive intensity after Melo went out. OP is imagining things.

Hail.................Maryland didn't quit. WV beat those Terps fair and square! Would you rather that Maryland hung in there and pulled out a win for the Terp fans? Every game has a winner and no two games end exactly in the same fashion. At least that's how I see it.

We were up 7 when he went out. Beat them by 10. I'm not sure he made all that much difference.
