I'm guessing every one of you will pick one of the eight national champions, but I gotta go with 2015. Harrison-Harrison-Ulis-Booker-Hawkins-Poythress-Lyles-CauleyStein-Towns-Dakari. What a collection of talent. And they all seemed to get along, too.

That is tough!

84 (Twin Towers & Sky Walker) was the first UK team I closely followed
92 certainly captured all of our hearts, and was my first year at UK
93 I loved Mash and this team, and was my last year at UK
96 and 12, how could you not love these 2 teams, and all the pressure they dealt with
15 that team was so special, if only Poy had not gotten hurt

But if I have to pick just one, maybe the 93 team

'96 and '12 were my favorites. The dominance of the '96 team and Coach Pitino's masterpiece team and AD was/is my favorite Cal era player who has played at UK. Loved MKG too. Just enjoyed watching how they played and never felt they'd lose-even though they did twice that season.

1996 team. For anyone that was around since, I’m noT sure how any other team could be selected. The 2015 team had the best shot at unseating them and pissed it down their leg.

‘93 Mashburn year just cause he was an absolute stud, I think that was the year but FF before losing to the fab 5. Then ‘97 mercer and Anderson…..thunder and lightning, those 2 owned college basketball before the DA injury. Those guys were unguardable & of course 2012 since we cut the nets down.

I loved the '86 team (was always playing Walker with a turn-around fade in the driveway- though I was more of a Harden).
2003 was a fantastic ride with the Vandy comeback and 26 in a row.
2014 was such a rush as we put it together late and made it to the championship game.
However, I think that 1997 was the team I always go back to in my heart. Anderson's injury should have been the season (I sent him a letter the morning after it happened). Yet they put together another run. I actually saw their last win in person (and Anderson's free-throws on the technical). The championship game could have gone either way. Epps hit that late 3 to tie it, but too many fouls in the end cost us the title. I guess I have an affinity for the also-rans in team history.

2005, although it’s not a team that was built to make a run like a lot of the popular groups mentioned . It was still a fun season with the come from behind win at Louisville. Coming up short against MSU, with many squandered opportunities to close that came was heartbreaking. Just a memorable year for me, traveling to Atlanta was fun.

There's something about Chuck Hayes that just rips your heart out.

The Runts
They were a thing of beauty to watch. Magic in motion. Unfortunately we had a couple players who played with the flu and TW hit one huge shot after another. We were playing for a NC; they were playing for that and a lot more, but why shouldn't they have been playing to break the racial barrier in college basketball? We weren't used to playing against a team that quick or that good defensively, but my guess is that we would have beaten them 7 times out of 10. The night it mattered the most, things just didn't work out. We didn't bring our A game and they did.

1996 was the best team I've ever seen.

But, my favorite team was 1993. I was in sixth grade. Mashburn was my hero. I had the "Monster Mash" poster with him squeezing the air out of the ball in my room until I left for college. I used to keep my own stats as I watched the games. I knew the entire roster by name, class, height, position and home town.

Instead of taking a family vacation that summer, my parents got us nosebleed seats near the roof at the Final Four in New Orleans. I left the Superdome ugly crying, snot bubbles and all. That team is the team that made me a diehard UK fan and they will always have a place in my heart.

1996, obviously. But I really loved the heart of the 2011 team. I really thought we would beat UConn in the rematch. That loss hurt.

I took a gut punch with both of my favorites ... I loved the Runts in '66, in no small part because I saw Larry Conley win the Kentucky State Tournament in '61 and carry Ashland on his back to the Finals in '62. And my co-favorite was the '75 U.K. team. Grevey, Jimmy Dan, Bob Guyette, and Mike Flynn were seniors; Goose, Robey, Mike Phillips, and James Lee were freshmen. I lost $100 when they lost to UCLA in John Wooden's last game. That was the last team sports bet I ever made. (Still played a little golf for some cash, though. )

1992. It should be almost everyone's. They aren't called the Unforgettables for nothing.

<<<< 1978.

After 78 I have a bunch that would be right behind them.

This year's team was looking good, but that may be fading away. I sure hope we get everyone that's eligible to come back next year.

Maybe the 03-04 team due to the fact that on paper they seemed to have no business being that good.

The 1984 team is my favorite. Love the front court of Turpin, Bowie and Walker. Add in Bennett, Blackmon, Master, Harden. A very very good team. Crush me the way we played in the 2nd half against Georgetown. Stil have nightmares of Michael Graham.

to me, it has to be when I was a kid. Every game meant so much to me. So I’ll say the Gerald Fitch team that lost to UAB, I believe that was 03

That was a good team. Hated when they lost. This was 03/04 after we lost in 02/03 to Marquette in the elite eight.
