Once again, in order to analyze a team you have to also analyze the opponent. OSU has a talented team with the leader in the Big 10 Player of the Year race in Keita Bates Diop who is a 4-star senior from the state of Illinois who is averaging 20 ppg and getting a ton of rebounds. They also have a senior 4-star forward in Jae'sean Tate and a 4-star senior SG in Kam Williams who has beaten NU in the past. OSU's senior class have had great seasons and flourished under new coach Holtman's system unlike NU's seniors.

OSU also have 3 four-stars coming off the bench that NU recruited hard in Musa Jallow and Kyle Young and a 4-star center in Kaleb Wesson who was the Ohio High School Player of the Year. Also, their PG is a talented player in CJ Jackson who has had a strong season. So we can continue to blame it on the coaches, but OSU is 6-0 in the Big 10 and ranked in the top 25 for a reason and beat MSU by 16 points for a reason. They have talent and the talent is producing. Too bad that will be missed by some posters.
