What do you thin about it. Saw where in 2019 RayCom is out of the picture. Will you have to subscribe and pay extra even though you are paying for ESPN or does it come with your ESPN package. OFC

If ESPN is involved, it will likely disappoint. Its sort of to the point where I will only watch the sporting events, not the shows.

Patrick, Kilborn, and Oberman must laugh when they see the morning Sportscenter has become a talk show with only one person that sort of knows sports.

I wouldn't watch the station if it wasn't for Duke basketball and college football. I hope they make me wrong, but I don't feel good about ESPN being involved.

The head of ESPN is a unc grad and fan just like the ACC commissioner johnny swofford is an unc grad and a unc fan so you know the tar heels are going to be taken care of. OFC

I don't mind ESPN. Its not great but I don't mind it. But I'm still in the minority of enjoying Dickie V. And I really like Bilas and Shulman when they do basketball games. I don't really watch SC though. Havent really like it for years. And I don't have the same opinion as most of you on Raycom. Im not a big fan.

While Sportscenter is hardly as good as it used to be, I don't get all of the hate for ESPN. Excellent coverage of college football and basketball. Not to mention, excellent documentaries. Plus ESPN3/WatchESPN are convenient ways to watch smaller schools and sports that generally get overlooked in programming, like college lacrosse.

If the ACC Network is similar to the SEC Network, I'll be really pleased.

I am definitely in the anti-Vitale crowd. I respect all he did for ESPN's early adoption of college basketball, but he is a caricature spitting out the same six phrases now. But I agree with you, Shulman and Bilas are great. And as Mark said, the 30 for 30 docs have been pretty consistently great.

SUCKS!!! Raycom is way better than ESPN. ESPN has gone way too political and liberal for me. Also the picture quality isn't as good IMO as raycom, fox, CBS.. And the announcers are more annoying

These networks offer very little watchable programming. Big programs play on ESPN & ESPN2 while the lower level games get pushed to conference channel. Cord cutters are killing cable/satellite tv & prices are already coming down big time. Which in turn drives down rights fees.

Very grateful that FSU & Clemson stayed in ACC to anchor football. Without them the ACC may have been toast.
