What's up with Towns only getting 12 minutes?

Me thinks I've found a troll under the bridge. He struggled today and unlike whatever fan you Are of, we have a solid options of front line players to choose from for foul trouble and poor play.

None of the bigs played particularly well today...it happens. We still won by 15 on the road against another GOTY opponent.

No problem. Just be aware that a very low post count coupled with starting a thread that can be perceived as criticizing UK, Cal or one of the players is the mark of a troll. Not that you are...I don't believe you are. You just have to tread lightly until you get some more time and posts under your belt and people figure out who you are and what you're about.

I'm not sure how asking a question about Town's minutes which were significantly lower than usual can be misconstrued as being a troll but, fair enough. I don't have a lot of time to get on here but, there seems to be a lot of people who are only interested in being obnoxious. Thanks again for posting a pleasant reply.

Yeah, that shows the quality of our depth. Any given night a different player can step up and have a big night. We don't have to depend on any one individual. 40-0 is highly unlikely but, at the same time highly possible with this team. This is one of my favorite UK teams in a while.

BucN1Cat, if I may offer some unsolicited advice. Don't let posters on this message board who send mean spirited personal responses ruin the entertainment value which does exist among those posters who opt not to act immature. You asked a legitimate question. To be sure, this is anonymous message board where you could be exchanging messages with a 12 year old. Some adults who who reply with personal invective would never engage in such communication with their bosses, coworkers, customers, close personal friends, family, etc.
When I joined this message board several years ago, I was initially taken aback by the lack of civility displayed by far too many posters. At first it ruined my experience but then I realized such anonymous cowardly retorts were not worthy of responding to in kind. Doing so resulted in a lengthy series of useless personal attacks that I help perpetuate by participating in such ridiculous exchanges. Now, I just ignore such boorish behavior.
Participating on this message board can be quite enjoyable once you learn to ignore the "noise" generated by those persons who would rather communicate something personally insulting than prepare a civil, well reasoned response.
Don't feel bad OP. I get called a troll everyday bc of my Low post count. I just finally got around to creating a name. I've read the board for 10 years. Have a catspause magizine subscription etc. my entire family is UK die hard fans. Don't let the dumb dudes mess with you. Probably a 300 pound single man living in a trailer with his mom. Capnmonkey is the worst for this.
17 total post and asking a question that he really should already know the answer to. Of all the questions to ask, you pick to ask about a player that didn't log many minutes because he didn't play well.

Fail. Your actions are just as annoying as a legit troll. Even if the OP isn't a UK fan its a legit quesiton phrased in a reasonable matter.
Yep. If there's one word I'd be happy to see disappear from the board's lexicon it's "clutter", some posters have gotten way WAY too carried away with overuse of that word.
And I'd agree with others here that the board's wannabe "troll cops" have also gotten out of hand, in fact to the point where they've started to become more annoying than actual trolls. No reason the OP needed to be attacked for his question like he was here.
Good post UK90, I remember not so long ago the one calling people trolls was getting ripped on here and I felt sorry for him (her), now they are doing the same thing.
For what it's worth I only caught the last eight minutes of the game When I read this post, I wondered also.
Some people on here have high post counts only because they are always complaining about people with low post counts.
Did you get to see the game - ? I know some lost transmission from ESPN due to their cable/dish service and others had to work.
Unfortunately - KAT had a rough time yesterday. Game was physical - and he was playing soft. Cal yanked him. Dakari and Marcus got the lion's share of minutes yesterday, because WCS had to sit early in the 1st w/ 2 bs fouls
Towns is a freshman and is still learning the physical part of the game. Finesse front court players will not be playing in games where the opposition is packing it in and slapping, bodying up on you every play. Towns needs to watch film on Demarcus Cousins and Jamal Magliore to find out how to make plays at the physical level. I just don't think KAT has developed that part of his game yet.
If we have to get a bucket I am not sure if we can get it on the blocks. Dak cannot jump. Our passing inside big to big is not good. WCS has never been a scorer inside. KAT has got to develop a scoring move inside. If we need a 2 to drive a nail in...it must come from the blocks and I still cannot figure out who can get that done.
OP, a valid question. A number of responses addressed the issue. Towns struggles against physical players adan we've seen this in our prior games. He is a freshman and it appears he is learning. A word on S and C. The ignore hyperlink is a great option.
Very good post. This board is getting filled with people that just want to attack people for wanting to discuss a situation. Anything that may sound even remotely negative in their eyes, they don't want to discuss it. These guys sound like Kim Jong Un. Censorship in its finest form. Now that is CLUTTER!
I only saw a few things Karl was doing wrong. Here took a fall-away short jumper...Cal has twice said in press conferences that he'd bench Karl for doing that. Another was that Karl allowed a wide open shot on an in-bounds play right under the basket...he should have switched to protect the basket. And, both Karl and Trey were NOT blocking out on defensive rebounds...Carolina were kicking our butt on the offensive boards. Freshman mistakes.
