I'd occasionally watch Stooges shorts with my grandpa on weekend days; I reckon it was one of the first shows he really liked when he first got a TV in the early 1950s. His favorite lineup was Moe, Larry, and Curly, which is the lineup I remember the best.

Moe/Larry/Curly was the best. Kids these days really don't appreciate a good pratfall. Between them and The Little Rascals I could watch for half a day. A lot of fun episodes but the one that comes to mind right now was when they were working plumbers/construction and the rock fell into the water and they threw it on the woman who had fainted. Too funny.

You should read about how the studio screwed them over. Basically paid them the same for almost 30yrs because they did t know how popular they were. They worked 2nd jobs while not filming.

Currently in middle of moes bio, I stooged to conquer

I'll pick a copy up at the local bookstore on Saturday if they've got one.

There's a short documentary on Amazon Prime about the Stooges, "Stooges: Men Behind the Mayhem" (2022). I'm gonna watch it later tonight.

Moe, Larry and Curly. Shemp was hilarious in his own right but Curly was off the rails. He'd forget his lines or cues much of the time and that's when he'd fall to the floor and spin or do crazy stuff.

Always felt like Shemp was like a tasty snack that was a different flavor than you normally liked. Not as good but not terrible and always appreciated when he’d pop up.

That said Curly was kind of a role model and personal hero of mine. I’ve strived to live up to the example he set for me as a young child.

When I was a young lad, my dad and I would go to Lansdowne Barber Shop for a haircut.

Barber: "How do you want your hair cut?"
Me: "Cut it like Moe."
Crazy. I used to do the same at Lansdowne but I got the Vance Duke cut.

Did Cecil cut your hair down there?
