Lack of interesting threads lately, mostly because I swear many of you are the worst GD posters I've seen.

My go-to breakfast is a Garden Of Life Organic Meal shake with Blueberries, Kale, Chia Seeds, and Banana. Sometimes if I don't have time, I just take the protein powder with water.

But, Consumer Reports just did a huge article on how many of these proteins contain far more metals than they should, the one above being the absolute worst. And because I don't want butt cancer, I probably need to nix it.

So what does everyone eat for breakfast?

If you happened to die the day you ate a Cracker Barrel breakfast you would die a happy and fulfilled man. The rest of yous are gonna be on your way to hell like “mfer I should have eaten something more than yeast sprouts. Smh.” TMFS.

I buy those pre boiled eggs. Have 2 of them and some whole grain bread of some sort at my desk. Then usually a handful of non salted nuts around 10 or so.

1 cup - Quaker 1-min oats, cooked 90 seconds, and topped with either honey or maple syrup.

1 - 16 oz serving hot tea with 2% milk.

4-6 oz glass orange juice.

Weekdays- Greek yogurt & mega mug of coffee

Weekend- ham & cheese scramble or chicken biscuits & gravy and coffee.

Special occasions- my wife has figured out how to make a better version of a Cinnabon. I have about three of those with coffee and then go into sugar shock for a few hours.

Thinking of trying to meal prep my breakfast. I see people making scrambled eggs in those cupcake trays. Need something I can throw together on Sunday for the entire week.

My wife makes a mean egg & bread casserole for Sunday brunch. You can put anything that you like in it (cheese, ham, sausage, onion, asparagus, tomato, jalapeno etc.). A pan of something like that would last you all week. You can cut it into individual portions that can be frozen and reheated if you like.

Three eggs scrambled and a bowl of oatmeal. Whey powders are good meal replacements and it sounds like you add pretty much the best stuff possible to your shake. But in the morning, at least for me nothing beats simple, real food.
