Doesn't ky law state UK has to post for like 7 days, a new job opening? If he lets some go, which he stated today on KSR. we still will not know for at least a week to learn the new coach or coaches names.

Did he specifically say that he was letting them go or showing them the door? My impression was that maybe some were leaving voluntarily to take other positions elsewhere.

He just stated there would be some changes. so, i take that to mean either leaving or being ask to leave. Either way same results.

He said he legally can't talk about it at this time, I could be wrong but that made me think that he is letting them go. He also talked about how it affects them and their families.

c'mon, there are ways around the legal mumbo jumbo. Ask Joker, he brought in 2 coaches & had them on the practice field helping with Birmingham Bowl prep before job openings were announced (Casey & the guy from Indiana State, can't remember his name?).

That is correct. From UK's website regarding jobs at UK..."Application review will begin after the position has been posted for seven days and will continue to be posted until position has been filled."

That doesn't mean that Stoops can't talk to people and informally offer the job...just that UK cannot announce anything and no contracts can be signed before that period ends.
