Of course, the one is much more serious than the other, however, it’s the exact same philosophy. Which is why I hate it so so much. I hate it anywhere I see it.

It’s the arbitrary lowering of a standard in order to artificially generate desired results. Leading, of course, to the beneficiary of those lower standards to celebrate their artificial accomplishment, even though they have not actually improved in anyway compared to the previous standards they were unable to meet.

If anything it's the other way around, our military and government as a whole have been up to this for decades longer than the CFP has been around. NASA can't even get people the 250 miles to the "space" station anymore without help but took multiple trips 239,000 miles to the moon 50+ years ago. It's bigoted to hire the best and the brightest, didn't you know?
