When the three conference unbeatens play each other, who will you pull for?

Baylor vs TCU

TCU vs OSU

OSU vs Baylor

It doesn't matter if we don't win out, but these can be tough choices emotionally.

I'll be pulling for OSU over TCU and Baylor, and TCU over Baylor. The best scenario for us, should we keep winning, would be for us to play an undefeated OSU the last game of the season.

You know I was wondering if the conference might get creative and if OU and OSU both beat Baylor and TCU, and move Bedlam to the same day as the other conference's CCG. I think it would be a great idea. I know it was 44 years ago, but that's how the GOTC ended up on Thanksgiving.

I only root for aggies when it is absolutely needed for OU to win a conference championship.

I won't root for Baylor. Period. So I would have to say TCU over aOm and Baylor, and they can both play to a 3-2 final in which the first team to drop kick Art Briles head through the uprights wins...

That's a good thought. I don't know why they couldn't, as there are two other B12 games scheduled that weekend.

OSU is undefeated and ranked 12th. No poll voters are fooled by them.

Yet, if Texas A&M, Georgia, Auburn or South Carolina ( add any SEC team) were undefeated they would be in the top five. OSU needs some respect until we defeat them...........

We are only in getting into the playoffs if BU's only loss is to us. Period. If BU stumbles twice the committee will put that on the frosh QB and downgrade our hypothetical win with a huge asterisk. Wins over TCU and oSu by themselves won't get us into the playoffs ("no defense") - we need a strong BU on our resume'.

Best case scenario is oSu beats both Baylor and TCU in close, well played games. Then OU beats them soundly.

This is not the best scenario, beating TCU and Baylor would be a much better than beating a 2 loss OSU. OU is in the best possible position OU plays TCU and Baylor who will both be undefeated when we meet them. OSU will be a two loss team rated at about 23-20th when we play them.

If Sooners win out, they will be in the playoffs. For the others, the champion will need to be undefeated at the end of November to get into the playoffs. Fact that the other power 5 have championship games will doom a one loss champion other than OU. Unless of course there are a lot of top 10 upsets in November/ December and historically that does happen.

OSU isn't significant enough to pull for or against. They will take themselves out of the conversation (like always) so it is one less variable to be worried about.

Agree with LT. Hard to see OSU beating a senior laden TCU with Boykins. TCU D getting better week by week so it should result in OU playing back to back unbeaten in Baylor and TCU. Then OSU an afterthought but will have to be dealt with if OU in No. 5 or 6 after winning both games. OSU still would be ranked in top 20.

If Sooners win out, they will be in the playoffs. .

Hardly. This is just as likely as any other scenario:
1. Clemson wins out;
2. ND or Stanford wins out;
3. Sparty or tOSU wins out...
4.....that leaves 1 spot. OU vs the SEC situation will be very tricky.
* If LSU wins out, we're out.
* If UF wins out, we're out, by virtue of their additional SEC CCG win over Ole Miss (LSU loss trumps UT loss)
* If Bama wins out but Ole Miss wins the SEC, there will be a lot of people saying Bama is simply a better 1 loss team than OU (i.e., Ole Miss is a better loss than Texas). The 2013 Sugar Bowl is not going to matter in the least.

Our best (only?) shot given the above is if FSU beats Clemson and we go over a 1 loss FSU due to the ACC sucking ***. Pray for Dalvin Cook's hamstring. http://www.tomahawknation.com/2015/11/2/9657238/fsu-practice-report-dalvin-cook-back-at-it

TCU's D has been shaky all year, barely-winning-each-game oSu likely goes 0-3 in November (making our last game anti-climatic), and beating a true frosh QB at Baylor will be heavily discounted, particularly if they go 1-2 in November. Winning out does not guarantee anything.

I have my reasons, and I had written them down here until the post magically disappeared.

Rather than recreate the effort that effort, I'll just stand firm by saying that I believe that if OU goes 11-1, they'll be invited to the party.

I will pull for TCU over OSU so I can sell my extra OU/TCU tickets for $500 instead of $5. haha! After the spygate, I won't ever pull for Baylor in anything again.
