I think you could have a great coach and average talent and be successful (Belichick), or you could have great talent and average coaching and still be successful (think everyone in the SEC outside of Saban). I think when both are a little better than average, then your team is never going to be a little better than average.

Yep and I think as a fan I am just going to accept it and stop caring like I have in the past. I'll enjoy the family aspect the game brings and such but my true fandom is dead.

I unfortunately have to agree on most of what is on this post. We are better off with Riley than with Bo on many levels but his value of winning has two years to prove out. Callahan to Bo and loss to Texas in Big-12 championship way more powerful at our program direction change than I used to think but that loss was huge. This is embarrassing as not only did we lose big again we looked like we don't know how to win.
