Butler? Terah? Good enough to get time last year but not this year? I don’t get it.

I was at the game. Our dline looked like the 80’s dline Size wise we were Lilliputian compared to minn. something does not compute.

I had mentioned that earlier in the year and was rebuked, mentioning a 250# tackle or a 6' D tackle. And the holes that opened were GIGANTIC, just pushing these people out of the way. This looks like the alternate year team system...one year great the next year terrible. I certainly don't have the answer. But today Marty was the partial answer but not all of it since he malfunctioned on some passes but sop did the receivers.
I'm still a STH and will be one next year, because that's what fans do. But until a product is on the field that can be admired for its winning ways, getting the stadium filled will be a chore, even with the Chicago populace next door.

Go back and look at the tape. There were at least three times I heard miller’s name called for a tackle….but he was catching a rb from behind 8 yards past the line of scrimmage.

I watched the DTs and one engaged the OL at an angle that created huge holes without even great blocking

Not defending our DTs as they have obviously been an issue but would love to know where you see a 250lb DT? All of our DTs are at least 290lbs.

How different is this year's defensive line from last year? How quickly I forget. Leota is gone and that is a loss. Who else? Gold isn't playing, right, and he would have been a much needed run stopper, but he didn't play last year either as I recall. Others?

It doesnt matter who is in there. Even ned would be set up to fail w the JON ying yang defense. Fitz doesnt know what he is doing.
Look for 1, maybe 2, transfers over the next 14 days if another team agrees.

The advantage we may have over the transfer portal is that each of our players have lost substantial value. So, it may prevent more players from leaving brown burnt pastures.

Saunders and Brown were both warriors last year. Brown had a shot at the pros but I was really hoping both Saunders and Urban would return for one more season.

I don’t know why Spivak is playing so much as he’s been having a rough season, and also why Butler and TeRah never see the field. They can’t be any worse than what we’ve seen.

…Brown was drafted in the fifth round and is currently on the Rams’ practice squad.
I’m aware. That’s why I said ‘Brown had a shot at the pros’, so it made sense for him to pursue that.

Saunders and Urban (at OG) may have been too beat up for one more season. But we could really have used both.

Yeah, I deleted that post while you were typing because I misread.

Fitz playing Spivak because of loyalty to No. 1? I know a lot of former No. 1's didn't play a lot but Spivak was really given a ton of PR. Plus he is a leader. Size matters. Particularly at DT.
