Where Are You Watching the Game Tonight? Rituals?

Thought I would a little something different since we're a little over six hours to tip-off. Where are you watching the game? Any rituals?

My brother and I watched every game in 2010 at our local Buffalo Wild Wings. We tried it again in 2011 but stopped after our Sweet 16 loss to Arizona that year. We went back in 2013 (skipped 2012 because of bad karma) but because Easter was the day of the Elite Eight vs. Louisville so we couldn't make it....so we blamed that as the reason. And last year we didn't watch it there. But this year that's our place again.

I'll be wearing my blue 'Go To Hell Carolina' t-shirt in honor of their loss last night....it's also the shirt I wore when we won the final game in 2010. As Michael Scott from The Office would say, "I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious."

At home with my best friend from childhood who is a Wake fan. Every game we have watched together at my house this year we have won. I told him he could not miss another game this year. I also have a shirt I have worn for both UNC games and both tourney games on today.

I'll either be watching the game at home or at my local bar. It all depends on the weather. If it's still raining tonight then I'll probably be watching the game at home but if the rain has cleared out by tonight then I'll probably go out to my local bar to watch the game.

Ill be watching at home. I have 2 pretty big TV's in my living room and basement but for some reason I always start watching TV in my bedroom because my TV is on my dresser at eye level and I can just stand right in front of it. I like to stand when I watch. If I don't feel like we are playing well enough I then change TV's and go to the one in my living room. Or vice versa. Needless to say a lot of times I am not watching the end of the game on the TV that I started watching it on
at the beginning.

Always at home, wearing my authentic Duke warmup jacket worn by Danny Meagher from 1982 to 1985. Remember Dan from TV, even though I graduated way before him.
In all honesty, though, I'll probably fall asleep on the couch in my Meagher warmup and then check the score on the computer when I get up in the middle of the night to take a piss.

I always watch at home in my man cave. I don't like watching games with anyone not even my wife who stays in another room.

By my self and quite as a mouse. I don't yell at the time because I'm usually to tight to do that. I will come out with an occasional yes and fist pump but I do better when I'm by myself. Win or lose I doubt I will get much sleep tonight. . Good thread. OFC

I'll be watching at home because I'm That Neurotic Sports Fan that normal people end up wanting to strangle by game's end. My ritual is that cell phone game Dots (helps me stay calm; did I mention I'm neurotic? lol), angry gangsta rap blaring in the background during the game, and beer. Lots of beer.

On my couch with my black Cameron Crazie shirt on. This thing seems to be a lucky charm.

At home, alone, wife upstairs. Surround sound cranked. We win when I wear my 10' National Champs net shirt. It will be on. All my UNC buddies will call and give me hell right up til about 5 minutes to tip. None will after that as they know I'll get in their $#!t deep if they call 5 min before tip or during the game. All but my buddy Johnny, he and I understand everything. Each other and the love we have for our teams. I will be jacked up beyond all belief after the game , win or lose. Sleep will come many hours after the whistle has sounded. I want this so bad for me, for Quinn. If we don't win a NC , I can take it. But I do need a Final Four. We fall short of that and I'll be one ill old bastard for several weeks. Mainly because we have the players to do it this year, all they have to do is stay focused and it will become reality. Go Duke ! Let's do this.

But will there be beer? This is key.

No cell phone? Not even a flip phone? You're a good one. I went without a phone for a couple weeks and it felt like I was missing a limb lol

You poor soul! I'll be watching the game at my house with some cocktails and my 1K shirt on that's brought us fairly good luck the first two rounds. I can't even finish off work because I'm so nervous!

How do you think I've managed to keep you boys in line all these years?

At home on the couch drinking Guinness. At stressful times, you'll find me standing in front of the Tv in a defensive stance, and when we go to the line I practice my free throw routine to calm my nerves. When I start floor slapping, my wife leaves the room.

It's a good thing I watch at home alone.

I have to watch at home by myself. Can't deal with outside distractions or people talking s**t to me during the game. I'm eating out with friends before the game tonight with the pledge that I have to be home before 9:15 to prepare. I'm hoping a couple of glasses of wine and a whiskey sour will help calm my nerves.

Oh yeah, I forgot about rituals. I guess that's because I don't have any. I'm not superstitious, so no good luck shirts, etc.

I'm with OAD I'm watching at home but no special rituals. I don't think I could watch in a restaurant or sports bar or anything though cuz I like to be focused on the game no distractions. Except get on here during commercials

No rituals, just me and the Big Screen TV!! All my concentration on the game and everything going on. Can't watch with a lot of people yelling, screaming, and talking. Would love to be in the game situation in Cameron!!
Don't yell much(?) anymore, am trying to gain control of my emotions. Like someone else said, win or lose, I won't sleep much tonight!!
I want this for these Kids so bad, you have no idea.
Go Duke!!
