It was fine, definitely funny, but not the greatest or anything. Of the non-animated shows I have watched it's Seinfeld and The Office and then a big drop to everything else, but that's only what I have seen and I haven't watched everything. I would put Frasier right there with Cheers which makes sense.

I enjoyed watching it, definitely better than the average mindless sitcom. Like many good shows, it got to be kind of strange near the end of its run.

Sure you didn’t. [eyeroll]
I actually didn’t know the dad was gay. I guess my gaydar was down during that show.

What’s weird is that back then, it was unusual for someone to be openly gay. Now days, it seems half the population is gay.

Funny show though imo.

It just isn't that funny.

I wouldn't even recommend a comedy to anyone other than Seinfeld and The Office. Those two are so far ahead nothing else matters.

The big thing with Seinfeld is how well it holds up. I remember watching and really enjoying Friends, Cheers, Night Court, and several other sitcoms in the 80s and 90s. None of those are remotely funny to me now. I've seen every episode of Seinfeld at least 20 times, and I will never stop watching them.

Yep. The Office aside, I'd rather watch Seinfeld reruns over pretty much any comedy.

You got 1 out of 2 correct. The Office ranks well below the classics.
