I want to hear where you want to be seeded based off our current record And how the field sits....

I'm hopeful for a 4 seed with our 1 seed being Nova!

I'd have to see matchups. We're probably in that two to six range....with two being as high as we could go if things play out as we'd like, or six if we stumble down the stretch. Right now we're a four or five, IMO.

Depends on who gets over injuries and returns in time to get back into shape..Get those two back and in playing shape, and the devils can play with anybody.

Pisgah, good post and doesn't sound too bad to hope for that seeding and #1Nova. There are still too many question marks for me to pick a seeding (obviously the higher the better), mainly being the remaining schedule, the injuries we have, and those yet to come (God forbid).
Since Duke always gets the easiest path to the Title every time we get there ;), that's what I am wishing for this year!
Best seeding possible, easiest match-ups, Duke wins National Championship #6 :)!!!
Go Duke!!

I think a 4 would be just fine, especially with there being no clear-cut #1 we would want to avoid. It would also keep Duke out of the dreaded 5/12 match-up that produces multiple upsets every single year.

The higher the better, right now we are a 3-4 seed. With a strong finish to the season and a good run in the ACCT we could possibly get to a 2, but a 3 is probably where we will be. I just hope we are in the South where I can go!

I glanced at the most recent Bracketology (for whatever that is worth), and he has Duke as a #4 in the West with OU, Iowa, and Oregon. I know OU is really good and has the best player in the country, but I think I would take that bracket. Compare that with the South he predicts, with #1 UVA, #2 Xavier, #3 WVU, and #4 UK. That one is tough!

Would rather a 2 or 3 to prolong being in the path of a 1. I doubt we fall to 6 but I'd be ok with a 6 as well.

Since I have not seen most teams in the top 5 play, How would most rank them as a matchup for Duke in the tourney. I noticed folks were happy with a Kansas matchup. Didn't they beat OU twice?

OU and Kansas are the only two teams that "scare" me and they really don't do that. EVERYONE is beatable and I honestly see 20-25 teams capable of winning it all. It all depends on who's hot and healthy.

I'd rather not see UK, Kansas, Xavier, UNC or Oregon. Would love a second shot at Utah and would love a matchup with Iowa or Iowa State.

I think we're probably headed to something like a 4/5, but could very realistically get to the 3 line if we finished up well. IMO, this is year where matchups are far more important than actual seeding. For instance, I'm certainly not interested in a made-for-TV second round matchup against UK -- which is certainly something that could happen -- as that's a team that, like us, is better than their seeding would suggest. With that said, aside from KU and OU, there really aren't any teams out there who I would particularly like to avoid -- and, in fact, it's very easy to see a scenario where the 2s and the 3s in a bracket (e.g., UNC, Maryland, MSU) are a lot more formidable than some of the teams being discussed as 1s (e.g, Villanova, Xavier, UVA).

I think the made for TV matchup is going to be us with Maryland in the sweet sixteen. The committee/networks probably already have that part of the bracket filled in. I agree with aah that this year is going to be on the blue bloods and elite coaches having deep runs, so I want to avoid Kansas, Kentucky, UNC, Arizona, MSU.

Will be happy to be in tournament. No matter where we are seeded I don't think ant team will be thrilled about having to play us early especially if Amille is back in good form. OFC

Agree, KU and OU worry me a little if we have Amile and a little more without. I'd love, more than anything, to play Iowa or Iowa State with the hope that I can rub it in all of my friend's faces afterwards that have given me a hard time about Duke having a "down" year....

I want to see Xavier, Villanova, Iowa or Oregon as the higher seed in our bracket...don't care what dukes seed is, just want favorable match ups and I like our chances vs either of those 4 likely high seeded teams...
