PSU doesn't deserve to be in the top 4 until they beat OSU and or UM. Even if a poll put them there it's a rental until they win those games. It's pretty fn simple. PSU has pretty much been 7-15 rated program recently. Pretty damn good.
But to climb the ladder everyone knows what has to happen. What have the recruiting rankings been? Still not gonna out recruit Ohio State, Bama, Georgia etc. I'm gonna enjoy 11-2, 5-0 and be thankful I wasn't born a Pitt fan.

No one is born a Pitt fan. That takes years of personal failure, self loathing, jealousy, depression, denial of reality and envy of others success.

OU probably does deserve to be ranked ahead of PSU. They are a more complete team than the Nitts.

My exasperation was due more to the fact that in about seven replies to the OP no one mentioned our ranking. No issue with OU jumping us noting Bama probably isn’t that good this year.

The potential for beating OSU and Michigan is more real than in other years. Thus makes this a pivotal season for the Nits if they hope to move the program forward. Remaining the 3rd best team in their division, let alone the conference, will feel like a setback.

Expect a split at best---us beating OSU....losing in AA...hopefully OSU beats Michigan, we would get the nod moving forward.
