Good one. How much can a person weigh before they can safely try and lose 120 lbs anyway? I’m guessing 400 lbs? Losing 80 lbs is no joke. Congratulations. Keep it going
Maybe if you had a medical degree instead of a prison bunghole you would know how much weight someone cane lose safely.

I gained for too long. I had to get healthy. No more alcohol and now food tastes like **** so I live on 1k calories a day of chicken and veggies.
I've always been able to balance my diet pretty well, but this last 6 months I just went a little crazy with eating & not exercising.

I've always been able to balance my diet pretty well, but this last 6 months I just went a little crazy with eating & not exercising.
I was never much of a dieter. I was never really a big eater. I was so busy with sports through college and working out and I got big and strong and then when I would go racing my weekends and evenings were balls to the wall work. After I got married and settled down what was size and strength just started being big. A fee years ago I found out I have a bliid condition that caused blood clits and I had a pulmonary embolism and adter that I just lost all physical stamina so what was normal for me just became sedentary. I developed diabtes and high blood pressure andthat was making things worse so I decided to change everything.

So far I am off all of my diabetes meds and my sugar is controlled. I want to get off my high blood pressure meds. I will forever be on blood thinners to prevent clots and strokes they cause.

I intend to lose down to my goal weight and then manage it from there and at least give my body some room to last until whatever is intended to kill me can kill me.

I never really dieted so to speak, I just eat conservative Monday thru Friday then let what happens happen. Until about 6 months ago that & exercising & work I stayed fairly fit .....well hit & miss night shift & eating whatever was brought to work I'm now 40lbs overweight.
Congratulations on the transformation & keep it up .
My buddy did keto then took it to far . After loosing 100lbs or so he kept the diet going strong & become malnourished I finally talked him into seeking help . He's back to being healthy now

My diet resembles keto but I avoid the fatty foods and everything I do is under advice of an MD. I take special vitamins and monitor all of my eating and my medical team can view all of my food logs and change things if they see an issue.

My issue withe keto is the same issue I had with atkins and other ketosis diets, they alliw too much fat in the diet. They key to everything is moderation. My calorie intake is low by design and they focus is on what my calories consist of. Low sugar and low fat. Not no carb but low carb. Most everything I eat is high in protein or natural fruits and veggies.

Keto with half the fat would be good. Only issue I have with keto is the amoint of fat you can eat. You need carbs and fat and protein but you need the right mix of the three.

Its tough to stay active when life slows down. Working from home was good for me but not for my health. It wasnt diet that hurt me it was literally working from a recliner all day and not doing the normal walking one does in a day.
