Since when did Hoppy have a say so in who coaches WVU?
I hope the search company comes up with a good one and soon. It would be nice to put an end to all the rumors and speculation. Really only the new AD knows if Neal stays or goes. Hoppy is a goofball.
We essentially hired a really good fundraiser. The Country Roads Trust is the vehicle behind the hire. Not to mention about that we’re gonna have to pay probably in 2024.

His coaching hires seem to work out pretty well, from just reading through a few things real quick. We'll see.
Another reason Shane Lyons was fired. He didn't want Country Roads Trust to be the vehicle for NIL.
Sadly thats probably true, but it sucks. It feels like we have to throw away a year now, but I dont have any faith in Brown really at all at this point. Id rather go let him go and give Harrell the interim job.
Especially with what we’re faced with next year:
OOC games could be 2-1 if we get fired up for Pitt at home. Could easily be 1-2 going into B12 schedule. Ok St, Kansas, and Texas Tech could be wins… Yes I said Texas Tech. The rest of the schedules going to be insanely difficult before portal changes. We will probably win one that we shouldn’t and lose one that we shouldn’t as we typically do. 3 win season is likely
We always have excuses for all our football coaches and staff and I'm kinda over this concept. HTF can we not get a staff together that can win the big games and progress in the right direction, now going on 6-7 years? I mean I've seen zero momentum since 70-33 to be honest. Even if we strung a good couple of games together under Dana or Neal (if that has even happened), the program can't seem to sustain it. Who is in the background getting in the way of building winning staffs? I can't believe it's just bad HCs and think it must be deeper.
Dang. Missed JT being out by a week. Slovis and Daniels parents must have an unusual looking wardrobe or spent a fortunate in trying to look the part.
Ditto. They both sucked really. But Neal is the king of suck, so its no surprise every coach he's hired since Vic got ousted, totally sucks. Imo, all of our assistants suck except the RB coach.
