Looks like a fan vote. But Michigan? Really? They're getting a lot of mileage out of that half a national championship they're won in the past 70+ years.

Yeah, I'd have them as the first to drop off the list, but it could be argued either way.

I get that it is based on history, but the longer Nebraska stays completely irrelevant (with no improvement in sight), the more I start to wonder how much longer they will really belong on this list.

Agreed with the above that Texas will be hurt by their move to the SEC.

EDIT also Clemson shouldn't be ahead of Tennessee

not all blue bloods win titles

Michigan's bonafides = the helmet, the victors, the game, and I suppose their all time number of wins

Nittany Nation must not have seen this poll. I didn’t. Another 11% out of 170,000 votes is nothing for us to overcome, given the chance. It’s the old Natty’s vs total body of work discussion.
Neither one would put PSU in that list. Biggest negatives there are success under a single coach, limited to 1 decade, no conference until mid 90s. Having only 2 titles with the last one 35 years ago isn't going to overcome those.
