My pick is UVA . We've already beat them twice and may have to play the again in the ACC tourney. We know how tough they are and even though we've had the advantage over the past few years I just don't want to deal with them again this year. Bring on unc cheaterm u no problem. I enjoy so much beating them . The more the better. I don't mind playing UK. They want some us they can get some of us. Gonzaga fine. We owe them one. OFC

UVA would be my pick also. We might see them for a third time in the ACC tournament and beating a team that’s really good for a third time would be difficult, but having to do it a fourth time in the NCAA tournament would be very difficult! I wouldn’t mind seeing uk or Gonzaga either!

I don't know if it's the @BeerPoisoning from dinking too much this weekend, or what. But I don't want to play anyone in the tournament. Our guys don't have a shot according to the @BeerPoisoning .
Honestly, I don't think it matters who we play come tourney time. I'm not saying this out of being overconfident in this team, I just feel that whoever they face these boys are gonna meet the challenge head on and walk away victorious.
UVA is a really good answer because that would likely be the fourth meeting.
Duke is the better team and I think would be fine, but UK comes to mind for me (don't hate me). They have gotten a lot better, and would want to atone for the earlier humiliation.

I don't think we would beat them anywhere near as bad as the first meeting, but I do think it would be double digits.
The only way I could see them handling us is if they had a night where they couldn't miss from 3.
Don't want to see Kentucky again until a final 4, dont want to see them in our bracket...it'll never happen but hope Gonzaga is the #2 in our bracket

Agreed. I'll take UVA in the ACC Tourney finals for the win. Then Gonzaga at the final four for the win. Then Kentucky in the finals for the win. Done, done, and done!
UK and UVA are very, very good teams. Let's be clear about that. But both are horrible matchups for Duke. In Duke's favor.

Excluding the Fluke Syracuse game, Duke's biggest problem in our loss (or near loss), has been the presence of a C that can make 3s. Bolden hedges on the perimeter a lot. Vs a non-shooting C, he can recover on D. If that opposing C can make open 3s, we are in trouble.

UVA and UK don't have perimeter oriented Cs. Well, UVA's backup can make threes, but their D can't hold up to RJ and Zion with him instead of Salt.

UK's resurgence has been built on the emergence of guys that will get dominated by RJ and Zion. Further, their D has improved tremendously because Hagan takes the other team's ball handler out of the game. That doesn't work vs Duke, because Cam and RJ can handle team running duties.

In short, teams whose success lies in defense will have trouble vs Duke. RJ and Zion are simply un-guardable at the college level. Duke can score points. To beat us, you have to slow us down (because you aren't going to stop us) as much as possible.

As such, the teams I'm worried about are the Zags and the Holes. They are the squads that can run out 3-4 40% three point shooters. Those are always dangerous. Those teams are less reliant on their D to win games, while possessing lethal (or potentially so) offenses.
I don’t know why, but I don’t want to see Michigan in our bracket. Just a premonition. I’ve only seen a little bit of them this year. It’s probably because Belien scares me. He’s a good coach that emphasizes defense and game preps as good as anyone not named Krzyzewski.
Makes perfect sense since UK has gotten much better and would love to make up for that curb stomping. Reasonable UK fans don’t want to play duke until the final four as wel due to how good they are. Both fan bases hate each other it seems but both have a mutual respect of how good each other are. Most fans would love to see a rematch in the title game (it would be ratings gold as well). I’d love to see that if Maryland didn’t make it
I think next time we play a team that has 4 shooters on the floor, we'll switch everything and make them a driving team
Virginia. First win against them entailed their worst shooting performance all year. Second win we went nuts from 3, like 65% which is double our season average. Give our guys tons of credit, that’s two awesome wins. I still like our chances without a team’s shooting percentages being chaotic. But, I’m satisfied with taking our 2 dubs and not seeing them again this year lol.

In the tourney, we *can* lose to anyone. But there is no one I'm dreading to see in our bracket. We've looked rough during stretches of games, but we're absolutely the best team in the country. The team that jumps out to me is Gonzaga. Yes, I know, they beat us after we had played three games in three days - but so did they. We've been tested more than they have since then, however.
Too many people here underestimating the revenge factor. I want no part of UVA or UK in the tournament. UVA-- because its near impossible to beat a good team 3 times in the season. UK--because we embarrassed the crap out of them. I would love to have another shot at Gonzaga though, and I know our boys would too.
There are 2 teams I wouldn't want to play. The first is Gonzaga. They have a lot of experience and that cost us earlier in the season. Granted we are a different team now, but that experience is concerning.
I also would want to avoid Kensucky. The only reason is they would be motivated to play us given the spanking earlier in the year. Like us, they have improved a great deal over the last couple months and I wouldn't mind avoiding them.
That said, I'm not that fearful, or equally fearful, of everyone. Single elimination tournaments are always tough because one poor outing does you in. That said, I think we've improved as much as anyone, and while those are the teams I would rather avoid, I think we beat them if we see them. The teams that I always want to avoid are the teams getting hot now, LIKE US!

Kentucky. They look WAYYY better than the team we smoked. The rest of the field I don’t sweat at all.
Ky is playing much better, but I don't think they can defend Zion and RJ, and I think Tre makes is really tough for them to run their offense. I believe we still beat them in double digits. Not 34 again, but 10-12 or a little more. My only concern would be if Zion or RJ got in foul trouble
