Easy question. Basketball is UK, football is Alabama, and baseball is Mississippi State. Just an opinion.

The only ones I ever had a physical altercation with were UT fans for an incident that involved my young son, but I think he was probably a drunk frat guy, and not a typical UT fan. So, I will have to say AU has the worst.

Best experience was with Ala frat guys going walking to stadium who welcomed us. Worst experience was Vandy vans taunting us as we walked out of stadium after losing to them. Pretty much positive experiences everywhere else and I have been to all SEC stadiums except Texas A & M, Arkansas, and Missouri.

Define best and worst

Best as in "loyalty"? Find another program with the lack off historical success yet has the attendance UK does

Best as in "most pleasant to be around"? no idea

Worst as in "whiny, expect too much, etc"? Probably Bama in football, UK in basketball

Worst as in "entitled, obnoxious without accomplishments to substantiate it"? Ole Miss, USCe

Admittedly, my exposure has been a poor sample as I have not travelled to the opposing schools, but this was based on my experience around fans in general and message board/blog comments.

All of the above.

Best: Auburn. Love their team, travel in droves, reasonably humble. Only issue with them is that they have the UL "little brother" syndrome at times, but I have always liked Auburn people.

Worst: South Carolina. Too sensitive, too "cocky" for so few accomplishments.

As for my experiences.....

The best......Auburn. They were very nice to me and my group. Even after we beat them in Auburn.
The worst.....LSU.....They stomp your a$$, then berate you as you leave the stadium.

Worst fans period......(and it is not even close).....Louisville.

I set near the visitors at CWS and I would say AL fans have been very classy,, of course its easy when you are killing the other team. Vols are easily the worst in conf. Out of conference,, do I need to even say,, hands down not even close!

Worst - Haven't had a lot of bad experiences, but then again don't go to many away games. Would have to give it to Ole Miss. I once saw an Ole Miss fan conspicuously stand with his arms folded right in the middle of our pep band on the plaza in front of Bridgestone arena. Band members pointed a trumpet in each ear and he lasted about 30 more seconds.

Best - South Carolina. Met up with a bunch of cock fans from Lexington SC about 10 years ago by accident - shared our spot with them. Now we always plan a tailgate when they come up every other year and make a big deal of it. They even invited us to come down and stay with them. Good bunch of people.

It's just the luck of the draw most of the time as there are good and bad in all fanbases. A lot of it depends on your own attitude and how you approach them. Most of the time you get what you give.

Since owning season tickets, as far as home games go Alabama and Auburn fans are some of the most gracious. Gator fans are pretty bad.

South Carolina has the best AND the worst fans. The pre-Spurrier fans are gracious in victory and defeat, and can tailgate with the best of them. The more recent converts to their fan base are the worst. I have a couple of co-workers who regularly have to chastise their fellow fans into not being jackasses. Last year humbled them a bit, but if Muschamp is better his 2nd time around as a SEC head coach, the braying of the jackasses will return.

Younger Florida fans are the worst. UT as,a whole are obnoxious. Really no problem with any other fan base. Scar does think too highly of themselves but Spurrier had the on a good run and I know how we'd act if we had a couple 10 win seasons and a trip to Atlanta.
