I don't mind either of them.
But I hate UNC.

Not sure, but I'll be rooting for the NCAA Committee on Infractions on Sunday.
I'm like dukiejay on this. I simply despise the arrogant UNC fans.

I hate to be a stiff, but the cheering for taliban/isis joke is beyond disgusting!!!! I'm no liberal, and I despise both programs
I guess this could just be about the two coaches, but I'm thinking it probably is about the programs as well. I don't hate either coach (well, I do love making fun of Roy...and he is a cheater), but I do hate UNC basketball. I want them to fail in every way possible, and until the end of time, or even longer.

I actually like Cal, hate uk. Roy is the best worse coach ever, cause he doesn't use timeouts. So I can not hate easy wins. Hate unc.
To be fair id pull for the Taliban Tigers against a lot of teams. I just love their style of play. Very up tempo, lots of 3s, basically the UCLA of Eurasia.
I am with Mac- Taliban Tigers All Day before the holes....I despise their program for decades of cheating, arrogance and "aw shucks" ol Roy for his part in the scandal. I will be pulling for Ky IN THIS GAME ONLY like I pull for my Blue Devils everyday of my life!

Hey I get it! Cal is "who he is," but Roy's facade is just that! He's a liar and a cheat as evidenced by the scandal. Also can you imagine if K had tried like Roy tried to keep a PJ Hairston on the team after all the trouble Hairston was involved???!!! The only reason Hairston was dismissed was because the NCAA had the goods on Hairston and wasnt going to allow him to play....

I hear ya, but we are talking about basketball, not life. I love my wife, but I don't want her on my team playing pick-up because she can't box out worth $#!%.
I respect both coaches very much -- a fact I'm always surprised by. I like making fun of Roy (among other reasons) b/c I think he truly does want the OADs and he's just failing there, but I've admired how his teams have been built these last few years. Cal looks shady, but he's been at UK a while w/o any more whiff of scandal than some players from his 2010 team having terrible GPAs. And UK has been an exciting team to watch this year.

Cal such a hypocrite. Always gave Coach K a hard time for coaching team USA and saying it was a recruiting advantage, but here comes Cal and all his legendary shadiness coaching the team USA u-19 team. Isn't that a bigger recruiting advantage than coaching the USA team when the players on team USA are already pro's? Can't stand Cal-shady.

I have to tell you though Calipari yearly has his teams in the Elite 8 and Final Four. On a side note when I look at the Elite 8 teams it's hard not to wonder only if Duke were their.
I like Roy better than Calipari. Can't stand Caliparis arrogance. You would think he was the one with 5 banners hanging from the rafters. As far as the holes, I despise their fans period. God the mouth when they beat Duke. But can't be found when Duke kicked that *** for the 16th time in the last 20 games in the ACC tourney Rhey dish it but can't take it.
Very true Gabe. Still seems very surreal to me. Although we won the ACC Tournament it was a disappointing year as a whole....Back to topic though while I dont care for Cal, no active coach has cheated more over the course of his career than Roy.The DETEST METER rises all the way to the top...

Not sure where you reside but I believe in my heart you'd sing a different tune if you lived here in Kentucky. The fan base would make ur head implode.
Can't stand Cal at all. I'm actually do not have have a problem with Kentucky, because the greatest moment in college basketball history occurred vs them. Don't really hate Williams cause the daggum poor fella is a good coach. But I hate everything about UNC. I hate the fact that Michael Jordan went to school there, and that was the biggest selling point for the school for 30 years.

I wonder if UK fans know how hard it is to root for them. I wonder if they understand how much of a sacrifice it is. I don't know how it is for the rest of you guys but it is both a mental and physical challenge and strain on me. I'm not going as far as to jump off a building or anything like that but it is like a catastrophe . With all of that said looks like to me UK nation would be a little more understanding. OFC
And if you guys lived here in the carlolinas you would understand where we're coming from. If you think thr is bad, you should have to deal with all these idiots in person on a daily basis. With that being said: go effing uk.
QC has it nailed! UNC Media coverage dominates that of other schools, unless its negative Duke news....Exposure to their fans after a win is something to be avoided if at all possible... Yes, "go effing Kentucky!!"

Would love to see UK win, then get bounced by SC. Big blue nation always acts like tools in Columbia.
UNC owns this state, and 90% of the population are Tar Heel fans. Only Duke kicking their asses and winning NCAA titles has made it bearable to live here.
