This time of year I'm so amped up for football to start, that I will just throw games on the TV and let them run while I'm doing random crap around the house. Right now I have the 2007 Big XII championship game going against Missouri. Even if I'm not able to sit down and watch the game, I just love to listen to the sounds of a football game playing in the house while doing other things.

Anyone else do that, or am I just a friggen weirdo??

I do that all the time. I've been watching re-runs of games played last year on the SEC and Longhorn Networks. My wife realizes that football season starts soon, so whenever she walks in the room and I'm watching a game, she'll ask, "Is this live or another one of those old games you're always watching?"

Ive even taken it a step further, I will have the xbox simulate a whole game while doing stuff, just to see how the score will end up.
