Kaminsky or Dekker? WIllie will guard Kaminsky but will Kaminsky take Towns? if so Towns will eat all day. Thinking about these match ups and being able to run another line at them,(wear them out and get them in foul trouble) I feel pretty good about the potential game.

No one can guard Towns one on one in the whole country. That said, even I am beginning to realize how hilarious we are all sounding looking ahead to a game that very well may not occur.

I'll take Frank defending Karl any day of the week. Wouldn't think twice about it. The gap in athleticism is tremendous, Kaminsky has no defense, and Towns has good offense and great defense.

Wisconsin is one team I do worry about. They can take our bigs away from the basket and open the middle thus taking away our inside presence defensively. I did notice today against Ohio State that Kaminsky dont like to try and block shots inside. He dont want to foul.

Not so sure Wisconsin wants to do that. Then you make it a track meet. Want to place a bet on who wins that matchup? Let them pull our bigs outside. I think UK bigs can handle and move a whole lot better than Wisconsin bigs.

Not sure Wisconsin can recover as quick as they will need to.

The athletic difference between UK and Wisconsin is startling. They have no superior match ups but you worry about them? Why?

My guess is Dekker to avoid foul trouble for Kaminsky who Wisconsin can ill afford to lose as evidenced by their loss to Rutgers without him. He'll undoubtedly send either Willie or Karl to the bench with 2 fouls in the 1st half, perhaps both. And he's a 75% FT shooter. It's likely we'd need Dakari and Marcus to really step up in that game.

I certainly think UK can, and should beat Wisconsin, but another concern is with they style they play it could very well be a 1-2 possession game in the last minutes much as it was last year. In that kind of game, particularly in the NCAA tournament anything can happen.

I'll add onto that and ask who will guard Trey on the Wisconsin team??????
Trey is our silent assassin.....I suspect that he, besides great play from Towns, will be the difference as we hang another banner.

Out of respect for an opponent. Sure, we have more depth and athleticism. The "styles" of UK and Wisconsin are different; but, they are fundamentally sound and play good team basketball like we do. We get the edge with our defensive ability; they might get the edge with their ability to play disciplined, half-court basketball on offense.

If we want to win the title, they are one of the handful of talented teams we will likely have to face. But, both teams deserve the opportunity not to have the possibility of facing one another until the Final Four.

I think if we force the issue of getting the ball inside it will present a lot of problems for Wisconsin. If we can get a couple fouls early on their post men, things will be looking great. Thats why I would guess Towns will get Dekker, Either match up Towns will have an advantage.

Townes will not require much guarding since his walk is so slow. Townes moves at a slower pace. Townes would of fit in with that team perfectly

No one will need to. He will be on the bench 4 minutes in.

Nigel Hayes. He is a 6'7, 250 lbs sophomore. Very good, considering turning pro this year. He can guard Trey out front, in the paint hopefully Trey can go over him.

Why are we worried so much about Wisconsin? There are other teams that are better.
