Looks like he was a walk-on at UC. I'm assuming he really liked Hinshaw so will just walk-on at UK.

Might be figuring that if we get desperate we at least have someone who knows the G-H system.

He's a former 5 star who will start from day one and put up HUGE numbers.

Just kidding...

All jokes aside, he should know Gran's system and that will be very beneficial to the rest of the team. Almost like an extra coach.

I bet he is a kid who wants to continue to learn from Hindhaw and Gran so he can pursue coaching. If true, he will greatly benefit the education of our QBs, as he will know what the new coaches expect. Just my uninformed guess.

On the blog: Cincinnati QB Luke Wright transferring to Kentucky http://bit.ly/1UCZiTT

Wright — a 6-foot-4 player from Atlanta, Ga. — was a redshirt freshman for the Bearcats this past season. He came to Cincinnati as a preferred walk-on and did not have a star ranking in the recruiting class of 2014.

In four appearances with the Bearcats during the 2015 season, Wright completed one of three pass attempts and rushed twice for three yards. He will follow former Cincinnati offensive assistant coaches Eddie Gran and Darin Hinshaw, who were recently hired by Kentucky
