He’s gotta go thru Self first but Cal has owned Pitino lately so I’d be ticked for sure.
Kansas has the best roster by far of that pod.

Didn’t Ark beat KU in preseason? That being said I have no doubt Cal is ready for the season to end and get to the beach.

Adou Thiero is doubtful for their 1st round game. I would imagine Kansas wins that. I don't think Boogie Fland adds much, especially being out so long.

I think I'd always rather Kansas lose just because of the All-time wins lead.
But I'll be happy if Arkansas loses also.
This is a win win.
Kansas could look at this as a fresh start or just be ready for the season to be over with. If they’re energized they could come out of that side of their bracket to the elite 8. As an Arkansas fan i wouldn’t like the odds of Cal out coaching Self or Pitino with similar talent.
Pitino. Cal knows he is going to flame out and looking forward to time off after that hard work he put in all year. The real season is about to begin for him prepping for the NBA Draft.
They did. Which makes this even more strange. Teams that played already shouldn’t be able to play against each other the first game but they skirted that due to it being an exhibition.

Kansas had HD and two other guys out when they met preseason. Kansas hasn’t played Arkansas this year in any meaningful sense.
KU is being the hogs, but if it does align that way, St Johns will boat race Arkansas and I will be smiling the whole time.

St. John's plays hard, Pitino is arguably the greatest coach of his generation and if not, he's in the top 3....but be careful what you wish for because teams from Big XII/SEC aren't going to be scared of physical play, nor are they going to be scared of a team who can miss shots for 7 mins.

I felt Arkansas was better without Fland. This is a tough one to pick for me. Kansas has been spiraling, and Cal seems to coach best when he's being criticized. RP beats either of them easily.
