There are many and most of you will get a like from me. But the one I despised the most, had no respect for at all, should not have ever been allowed to not only play at UNC but two other D1 schools, has to be bipolar or just a natural psycho it has to be Makhtar N'diaye. Complete loser who was indeed recruited by Dean Smith most Tar Heel fans have forgotten about him or do not even acknowledge that he is Tar Heel family. Will never forget the throat slicing gesture he did in front of Coach K's wife and family after UNC defeated Duke and was not punished. I will say this for him. He had the greatest spit shot of all time. Right on target with the Utah player. Sorry but the OP ask. OFC

Sure did, cldnt recall his name ;)

You know I kind og liked having him down at the Hill. You could count on some good material just about on a weekly basis. Definitely one of the all timers and never will be forgotten here on this board. I'll see to that until I'm gone from here. OFC

Probably Jordan. Not because he was a huge jerk or was incredibly annoying like many other Carolina players, but because Carolina used his fame and notoriety to help recruiting for many years.

Yeah, this is a tough one! Depending on my mood this can change from time to time. Right now, it's Rasheed Wallace, after seeing that punk video of him playing ball (well, bitching as usual) with Amile.

Stackhouse comes to mind. Wallace also. Never cared for Bullock either.

It's hard to pick one. And I know Makhtar N'diaye was/is an idiot and an embarrassment to UNC, but he was really so insignificant in the rivalry and just such an ordinary player that he didn't even bother me as much as he should have.

If I had to pick one it's probably Hansbrough. But that's also partly because he just kicked our *** for four years and took names. I almost dislike him most for the fact that he was really good.

Others on the list include Rasheed Wallace, Rashad McCants and Harrison Barnes.

Wallace just because of who he was. If a Duke player ever acted the way he did UNC fans would have put a hit out on him. But they liked Rasheed because it displayed intensity or something like that.

McCants didn't just become an idiot in the last year like many UNC fans would like you to believe. He was an idiot before he arrived on UNC's campus and he became a bigger one while there. The fact that he went after UNC is funny to me and I enjoyed watching their fans do a 180 on him, but I still think the guy is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

As for Barnes, he's just a punk. Is part of that bitterness by me? Yeah, probably. I'm not afraid to admit it though. But I do find some joy in knowing that really, the last good thing to happen for UNC in the rivalry was the day HB committed to them. Since that day, it's been pretty smooth sailing for Duke fans when comparing ourselves to them.

Probably Hansbrough, but only because (common theme alert) of how hypocritical NC fans were when it came to his blatant, and I mean blatant traveling, flopping, fake tough guy routine.

However, never cared for any of them really.

It's funny you mention the Barnes commitment and that being the last good thing they point to. I felt like there was almost a karmic shift in Duke's favor after that commitment after how poorly and immaturely he handled his recruitment. Harrison goes on to have a mediocre career at UNC, relatively speaking, and flopped in big moments in the tourney, while Duke has obviously done what they've done since 2009.

Sorry but its hard not to respect what Hansborough did in college. He would've been an all-time favorite if he played in the right shade of blue. Don't get me wrong, I hated the guy, but I would've taken him on my team any day of the week. My top names for me are Felton, Barnes, Henson, Wallace, Haywood, and Hansborough.

Hating Hansbrough is even harder to fathom than hating Laetner.

The UNC player I liked least was Makhtar N'diaye. Played dirty. No place for that.

Just a poor excuse for a human being at the time. Hope he has changed. Just think if he had went to Duke. UNC fans won't even acknowlege him. OFC
