I had a flashback (old fart moment) last night when duke played Wake Forest.. Do you guys remember back in the day when there was a Big 4 tournament? DUKE, Wake, NC State and unc would play a pre-season 2 day tournament in Greensboro. I remember some really great games during that span. Wonder if that will ever come back? With the expansion of the ACC it kinda sucks we no longer have the guarantee of playing each other 2 times a year, with the exception of DUKE and unc.

Loved it. Also, as a New Jerseyite, loved the Big Five Tournament: Nova, St. Joe's, Penn, LaSalle, and Temple...all played at the best arena around; the Palestra.

How many of the old farts remember sneaking a transistor radio into class to listen to games before every game was on TV
I believe it was 1966 when UCLA played Duke twice in Charlotte or Durham.
I was a sub on our high school team but the coach kicked me off the team for listening to the Duke game during our game. I had my small transistor radio in my warmup next to my head. Duke won.
