Don't really care. This has been most boring tourney I can recall and have no vested interest in either team
Blowouts can be fun when you're rooting for the winning team. But, yes, UConn blew through the tourney this year like the men did last year.
I just hope we get another game like both final four games, both of which were pretty fantastic close games between good teams.

Bueckers and Fudd both were finally healthy. They probably would have won 1 or 2 more titles together if they both didn't have knees blow up on them.
For sure. As a guy who watches hardly any women's hoop, I was looking forward to this final. But UConn just completely dominated. It was no contest. And Bueckers didn't even have a great game -- 17 points on 5-for-14 shooting. But Fudd and Strong just destroyed them. The gulf between the No. 1 and No. 2 teams is WIDE.
The rate of ACL injuries in female athletes is staggering. There are many theories but no effective preventive measures-estrogen, lower extremity alignment, proprioception, muscular development etc.
Put them in wheelchairs. Save the knees and make the game more entertaining.

I see. Watkins at USC was another high profile knee injury. Interesting topic that may get some more research focus as women's sports are attracting more attention and dollars.
The women's game has a lot more parity than it did 10 years ago, but when you win an NCAA tournament game by 80+ points as UConn did in Round 1, then the game is still not quite there yet. Certainly improving though.
That's true. Though the women were at least able to get one two-seed in the Final Four this year.
Not to hijack the thread as the game is about to begin, but yeah the parity in the women's game has a super steep cliff even this year. Almost half of the opening games had at least a 35 point disparity, and that's just crazy to me. Apologies for the "formating"
