UK needs to play the QB who gives the team the best chance to win. This next game is season defining and we need a win plain and simple. Can Barker lead UK to a win, can Towles, their is no right or wrong in this situation. Whoever starts, he must play better than any UK QB did tonight so if Barker starts and plays well you leave him in but to end the season without letting Towles give it a shot is just stupid. And will solve nothing. Those who use this game as a measuring stick on how or who can beat Louisville seems just dumb.

He should be on a leash, but not short. Team needs to be focused, qb needs to be focused. Let barker chuck it around. If he looks overwhelmed, pull him. But players need a chance to fight through a couple bad throws.

Don't over think it. It's all riding on boom and defense anyway.

The problem is no one (staff included) knows who gives us the best to chance to win.

The good part about the way we won with the run, there's no way that they have any clue on what kind of passing game that we will show with Drew next week. That could be a big plus.

We can debate a lot of things, but one thing stood out tonight, NO interceptions. That is so important in any game. It wasn't a great game by Barker by any means, but we have to remember, this was basically his first game. It was good to see him get some touches, and throws to his receivers.
The weather wasn't the best for any QB. Windy, rainy, snow and colder then Hillary's heart.

Drew did fine, but you will have to agree that this game wasn't about difficult passes with the way we ran the ball. If we could have only run the rock like this all year, it would have made a big difference.

Very true and kind of what I thought during the game last night. Though I still think Drew needed a few more throws here and there.

You can't tell a redshirt freshman QB that as soon as he makes a mistake he is going to get pulled. Towles played many games not on a short leash. Let it play out, if he is awful of course you try something else. You don't go in the game saying Drew you are on a short leash. Yes, I know they did that with Pat, totally different cicumstances

Pit ran the ball at will against UL. If Kentucky can do half as well and Barker plays like he did last night Kentucky has a great chance to win. Limiting turnovers will be key.

I don't care what the staff does as long as they make the right decisions to win this next game.

Those who ignore the previous 20 games, however, those are the real geniuses.
Dosen't matter who plays qb...if we don't score 30+ we have no chance...Period
