I think Oweh has a slow start but gets the rust off for a big second half. I want him to take it to the rack and not settle for threes. DA is going to show he can be a starting PG anywhere and we are blessed to have him. MO will do MO things. I expect solid three-point shooting from Noah and Kam. I think we struggle in the post based on experience but spread the floor and Jelavic pulls their big out on defense after hitting some threes. Will be interesting to see how Jasper performs against size and experience. No matter what Pope will have plenty of material for homework assignments come Saturday. A win tonight and an upset over the Vols tomorrow would be a perfect Big Blue weekend. Go Cats!

I hope it's Jasper Johnson, need a big year from him offensively. I will also be watching Garrison closely, he needs to step up.
I'm thinking Jelavic will be our leading scorer tonight.

Oweh is our high-volume returning scorer, and I expect he's good for 15 plus. JLo would have been 18 plus, but with him out I expect DA is highly capable of 15 plus and proved on the biggest stage. Soring in the middle will be interesting. Malachi seems to have a nose for the basket and he doesn't hesitate or take useless dribbles, so I think he's a double double tonight. I think Noah or Colin will breakout with a hot hand from three.

The biggest impact will be Dioubate and Aberdeen on the defensive end. Both offenses will be a bit ragged but the defensive intensity will be decisive.
Garrison will need to step it up . Last year our defensive rebounding was pathetic when Williams was out of the game (looking at you BG).And even though it was just a scrimmage, true freshman Moreno got FOUR offense rebounds against BG in what….30 minutes? Dudes gotta do better.
Nice hot takes. I’ll roll with Trent Noah and Aberdeen. Noah hits clutch shots all game and Aberdeen makes clutch defensive plays. I think the whole team shows out a little honestly.

Would love to see him play big tonight after never really getting in stride in the B-W game.
I am with the opinion that Garrison needs to step up his defensive game.He could be much better,some of it is just effort and the other part is between the ears. I am anxious to watch Jasper tonight and see how he is progressing. There is so much to watch and observe,should be enjoyable.

I’m a big fan of Kam but a bit surprised he was very quiet in everything so far. I’d like to see him step up tonight be one of those guys that turns it on under the big lights. My prediction for tonight is Jamal and Mo.
