Most of the people that do that don’t even really follow the Cats. They just picked UK as their team.
True story…..
Two guys one time almost came to blows arguing UK/ UL at the Lodge. They had to be separated.
That week I’m up there watching UK/NC and the dude ready to fight comes in during the last minute of the game. He had no idea UK was playing North Carolina.
The same week the other guys walks in during UL bowl game in football and says….ULs playing? I thought football was over???
Huge Fans…Smsh. But ready to fight over who’s better. Morons

Well we have a few who are stuck in the 4 years nil is dumb days. And a few more who still want to win recruiting titles. If you can’t adapt to the new era there won’t be much joy to be found. Don’t get me wrong I miss having guys for their whole careers but times change.

This reminds me of the story of the old lady that called the police on a golfer she said "ruined her day" when he took a leak on a tree and she saw it out her kitchen window.

The cop came over and asked how she could possibly see him that far away.

She said "I stood on this chair and used a pair of binoculars !"

Similar, but I’m not there to bash. I follow everyone. I just noticed the comments are nothing but UK fans carrying on like jealous ex-girlfriends.

Whenever I think this place is crazy, I just look at social media. I will say Ark fans were giving it to UK fans when they got Cal, and many are returning the favor. I really don’t care if it’s just fans going back and forth, just stay away from the players/coaches.

Nostalgia is a dangerous drug when you overdose on it.

Time's arrow only goes forward, trying to tread water or God help us all, to try to go backward is a goofy and doomed rebellion against the laws of the universe unless you have a uranium powered Delorean in the garage or some Pym particles handy.

People “interact” with things they are shown on their social media feed. Twitter’s algorithm is showing that stuff to Kentucky fans. Otherwise you wouldn’t have seen it either. Many who do see it, interact with it. It’s nothing more than that. It’s the algorithm. They aren’t seeking it out anymore than you are, but many are interacting when it is shown to them, which now means the algorithm will show them even more.

It is sort of a super lightweight version of your cousin or brother being a notorious junky or a known Chester.

While their actions don't reflect on you personally it still can bring a level of discomfort and embarrassment from the mere association with them anyway.

Rivals will always troll each other. Tennessee, Louisville and now Arkansas have fanbases that troll every mention of Kentucky on twitter/X and Kentucky fans reciprocate. That’s the way it goes. Deal with it

I only see the posts of exactly the accounts I follow. And that's not many.

It's not difficult to set it up that way.

I see it all over YouTube as well. It's quite embarrassing. I understand if you had some anger to get out this season but for the love of God please stop. We look like jealous ex wives.

Not really, I can’t even remember the last time I went to another fan base forum. I have zero interest in what they think. I just found it a bit comical that you go to their boards and then complain about people going to their boards. Your subject matter of moving on from Cal I completely agree with though.

Hmm…seems you have comprehension issues. Twitter (X) is not a board. It’s a feed similar to Facebook where story’s come up on a feed.
I like sports, I enjoy news from other teams as well.

Ever seen the list of most hated fan bases for football and basketball? Kentucky isn't top fifty in football. Guess where they are in basketball? Look at those classy Duke fans in football compared to basketball. Tennessee fans are terrible in both. Florida is much worse in football than basketball, same goes for Ohio State and Michigan.

The only one I can't figure out is why Nebraska fans are considered so nice in football. It's like Canadians, I've met some pretty terrible Canadian hockey fans.

Kentucky is top shelf in basketball. Nobody cares about us in football. I've been asked why I'm a Kentucky football fan by Iowa, West Virginia and Nebraska fan bases. The Nebraska fans were so nice that they asked me to go back to my meth pipe when they found out I was a Wildcat fan. Apparently that's all we have to do outside of basketball season. I kindly told them it was bourbon that was my choice of an occasional companion, not meth. But I guess Kentucky just doesn't have the many metropolitan or classical forums of intellectual gathering points like they have in Nebraska.

Coach Stoops and the football cats do make it hard not to want to hit the meth pipe every time they play…
