Had a convo with A UM, who tried to compare
Cal's leaving UM for Ky, to RP leaving to become
ULs coach.

First I corrected the gentlemen, RP left to coach and
Run one of the Biggest sports franchises in the world.
Then I thought about that a min. Had to give him
That one, because Cal did to lol.

I did explain RP got nothing but support when he
Went to Boston. Hell Ky adopted the Celtics as its
NBA team while he was their.

It was when he left the Celtics and chose UL..And
It was not like their were not other top Col jobs open.

Michigan, NC State are the two that pop in my mind.
But RP had a Hall of Fame coach fired just to
Open the position up.

Then his smug attitude after accepting the job towards
The BBN nation made me hate him even more.

RP thought he was bigger then the program, and as he
Does now with the UL fans and media, he talks down
To Ky people like we are just to take him at his word,
because he is so much smarter then us.

Just can't stand the guy. Now more for who he is
Then about him taking the UL job. Everything that
Has happened to.him has been earned, the good
And bad.

And as this UM fan went on about Cal taking players
I ended it on this.

I asked how many players that played at UM came
To Ky. He said well none.

I asked him to imagine if Cal left UM and went to
There most hated in state rival. A rivalry that ranks
In the top 10 as one of the most heated rivalry's in
Sports, and the first thing he did was accept and
Take a All American big right off your team?

He had to admit that would be pretty bad. Well
RP took Stone. Even if Stone wanted out of UK,
RP should of never allowed him to go to UL.

Those are my reasons for not liking the man. May
Be petty to some, but as a person out side of ball,
I'm not real fond of him.

Dudes likes the state, probably still had some ****** floating around - stop worrying about things you can't control in your life.

He hired out at UovL. That's it. He's a skunk-weasel to boot. That white suit. He doesn't have a lick of common sense.

Going to Louisville is what turned me against him.I could care less about who he sleeps with.

The White Col Sanders suit and his death warmed over look is not a good combo at all. Looks like the corpse the funeral parlor couldn't get right.

Don your right, I still liked him even when he left for Boston but he was coach here long enough to know how passionate this state is about basketball from Pikeville to Paducah. The state is overwhelmingly Big Blue, all the call in shows, book signings and appearances he made and all the conversations he had about how special this place is to come back and coach at our biggest rival, that's something you just don't do without suffering some, which is what he is doing, although he won a championship at louisville, it's not like it was here. He could have went to Michigan, UNLV among others but that big ego of his took over, the same one that he had when he went to Boston for money and failed in his stint with the Celtics.

How is it possible not to dislike an ex wife who married your little brother? Especially one who gets a sex change and then messes up the salad bar in Porcini's? I actually tied to understand him for a long time but he keeps doing the same nasty stuff.
