Why is Penn State the only team in P4 football without a logo at midfield?

We go on the field to play football, not put on a fashion show….
PSU players are smarter than other schools, they know where they are playing

IMO, the “Chipmunk” logo is one of the most iconic logos in all of college sports; it’s a great logo that really has stood the test of time even though it’s now forty two years old. I’d actually love to see an alternate blue helmet with that logo on it. And to those of you who say never to have stuff like this, there are many top schools that have used alternate helmets in recent seasons, including OSU, Oregon, TAM, Miami, Tennessee, Washington, etc.Are we ashamed of the chipmunk? Do we need a new logo? Do we insist on being vague? Are we trying to avoid postgame fights,?
With the above said, the Beaver Stadium field definitely could be made a little more lively, especially the end zones, where I would like to see the diamonds return, as that was a PSU tradition for a long time like the Tennessee checkerboard.

B1G and West Shore **** is already too much. Should just play on a completely bare field without yard lines on it so we can boo every spot of the ball.
Yeah, I forgot about Amica on the back of the end zones. Damn, the entire field will end up with the yellow pages printed around it. "And he stumbles out of bounds at the utz 29 yard line for the first down."
The ad revenue will generate savings for ticket holders.
I don't think that Amica logo on the back of the end zone is that intrusive.

Shshsh, don't tell the Administration or the field will have a whole new color every week. Peach, pink, cerise, mauve. The possibilities are endless.
Why a midfield logo, lets go full Boise and have a field that matches the schools heritage. How about a pink field with black yard lines to commemorate the original school colors.

That's a James Franklin era thing. Penn State is better off eliminating that catch phrase.
Every other program in college football has a midfield logo. I'm wondering why Penn State does not, that simple.
Painting a logo at mid field would damage the nice Beaver Stadium grass. Groundskeepers would be against it
I think it could be as simple as that. Another factor could be the headache it would be to apply and maintain it. The overall ease of maintenance is much better without a midfield logo. It’s a different story with artificial turf fields.
James Franklin is to blame for not representing our school in the respected manner we deserve. And I am not in favor of, nor against, a mid field logo. I find it worth a question as to why Penn State is the only power 4 program that doesn't have a mid field logo. That's all.
Glad it's no longer PSU 's responsibility to support the Franklin family. We did so much for this poor soul. We are now experiencing excellence at the highest level.
I like the diamond endzones and nothing at midfield but I don’t really care that much. A few midfield options are shown in this article from a few years ago:
