Glad to see we’re battling OSU tonight, but why is CCC giving Taylor any floor time now? I’m sure he’s a great young man, but the seasons over and he’s gone. Give Greer all the time he can handle.

Wow! He is shooting terrible this year. Just shows the difference between power five conferences. I thought Turner looked good. Gaines was throwing up bricks. But we still looked solid. Nance needs to fill in his body with some muscle.
It was much more obvious to me last night how much osu was hanging all over Taylor, Turner, and Falzon. The amount of constant hand checks and body contact, grabbing arms and shirts, pushing in and etc., it’s no surprise to me two of them didn’t score (much?). Turner has enough ball handling and made them pay with some layups and bunnies, but none of them got more than a couple of open looks from three land.
They play different roles. Giving the minutes to Turner, Kopp or Nance would be a better comparison. Turner is getting plenty of minutes. Kopp is starting to get them and Nance is still not back
I’m no fan of Taylor’s game. He’s a catch and shoot role player who needs to be wide open and got into a slump this year to boot. Hard not to feel a little bad for the guy. NU or the BIG for that matter in retrospect was not the right stop for him. His stock has plummeted even if it was overvalued before hand. Had he found another mid-tier program and replicated his offensive output from Evansville he may have landed some gig in Europe for a few years, now not sure he’ll be getting too many phone calls.
Fair point, just saying that NU and the BIG did no justice to his stock. Wouldn’t have made a difference in the long run but a few years of extra coin maybe
