Lost as in past tense? Do you know something we don't? Crystal ball maybe?

Got it, so you think they'll lose all these games? Only if they continue to fall in love with the three. I think they were like 4 of 25 today. While they're defense is good, its not good enough to overcome that kind of poor shooting.

And so far without a quality win.

Guards can't hit the three and only one quality front court player, who might be 6'6".

They can always go to the N.I.T. They seemed pretty excited about the year we went.

Of course, ACC teams have always gotten in with .500 conference marks. This is a tough group and you have to be pretty good to split.

Anyone suggesting UL will lose at Pitt has zero credibility.

Louisville will lose no more than 3 or 4 games the rest of the way. That will give them a 25-6 or 24-7 record. That's good enough for a 4 or 5 seed in the NCAA tourney.

I think a four is a best case scenario right now. They have several more losses staring them in the face. As someone said, who have they beat? A bubble bound OSU?

^ This is a fairly reasonable and accurate post I would say.

I could see them struggle in a game they're not expected to lose against a team that plays a zone well, like Syracuse and lil brother lose the game (although I still wouldn't say it's likely at ALL)

and yes, lose 2 against Virginia ? sure, that's likely, it would appear. It's also possible to see them drop one or two more against ranked teams in the YUM, say like against, UNC*** and Notre Dame.

But that's pushing it at 5, if all of that lines up exactly right. You'd have to throw in another upset somewhere (prob'ly on tthe road) to get it to 6. Lots of things would be going right to have all that happen...

I just don't see them going close to anywhere near .500. 4-5 losses more likely, and most likely a 4 seed (again) in the NCAAT.

Not sure what you mean but I am being objective. Truthfully I hope they don't win any more games but, realistically, their remaining schedule looks like 3 or 4 more losses coming. They will lose one or two to Virginia and possibly one or two of Syracuse, Notre Dame and UNC. It's possible they could lose against an NC State or Miami too, I guess.

By the way, UK is not playing like the Cards. Not even close. I will talk glowingly about UK all day and most of the night.

Come on guys, they have the best backcourt in America and the best hybrid power forward in America.

Since 2013, UoL has more titles than UK has.

Quit being bitter.

I wouldn't be so sure about that I left out 2 more losses from my previous guess, they are currently 3-2 with 13 games left,

2 losses to Virginia
1 more loss to UNC
1 loss to Notre Dame
1 loss to Miami
1 loss to NC State
1 loss @ Ga Tech (yes GT sucks but play everyone tough at home)
1 loss @ Syracuse

That would be a record of 8 - 10 ,even if I miss 2 of these games .500 is a good bet

we shall see how it plays out....you guys are giving way too much credit to a team that can't hit water with a boat.

I'll give you Duke and Virginia, but they barely lost to UNC. I don't know why we are assuming they lose to them again. I doubt they have anywhere close to ten losses, and that will be enough to get in.

Louisville isnt a top 10 team. Personally i believe they will probably go 1-3 against the rest of their ranked opponents, and i think theyll drop 2-3 more road games against lesser teams, but thats just conference play. You cant expect to win all of the conference games that youre supposed to win, unless youre uk this year of course

Pitino himself just predicted that they will go .500 the rest of the way in conference. If they are close to that they will be in a tough 1st round game in the ACC tourney. If they lose that too and have NO high profile wins....then its possible they could be on the bubble. I see them as no more than an 8 or 9 seed in the NCAA regardless.
