Will Grier 3rd stringer

He is currently listed as 3rd on the depth chart, behind a 5'11" rookie QB from Temple, PJ Walker.

What the heck happened to Will Grier that he cant even make 2nd string coming into year 2 of his NFL career? How sad. I was hoping he would pull it together. Doesnt seem like the Panthers new coach likes him much, or he just sucks that bad.

PJ Walker is an impressive QB. I think a lot of people were wondering why he wasn't in the NFL when he played in the XFL

Only matters if you consider yourself a third stringer.

It's his feet.

His arm got him drafted but Will Grier is painfully slow , not nimble.

He’s not good at holding on to the football or always throwing it to his teammates. That stuff was not priority one in the Big XII with Holgorsen but in the NFL it’s most important. To be honest though he’s getting paid 3rd Rd money and wearing a ball cap at 3td string pays pretty well. I don’t watch the nfl at all but glad he’s getting paid-more power to him.

I would like to see Grier get a shot on a better team for him. He is definitly making some cash tho. I havent watched the NFL much in a couple years, but I do look up the stats for former WVU players and watch highlights of certain games.

Also this year the Burrow kid is making me more interested. He will be a beast if Cinci ever figures out how to protect him.

real life..........his has a family, a hot wife he bangs when she wants, and is making money more than anyone here. Life is good for him, he'd say for sure.

He is not ready. Rhule seems like a good QB coach. Geno needed to sit and it killed him.

I really hate this narrative...yes he has things good....but as a competitor...don't you think he would rather be out there playing than holding a clipboard?

I would want to play. Will is a player he wants to play no doubt. He got a shot last year, but their OL was sooo terrible, and he got thrown in the fire. I'd love to see him go elsewhere and get a real shot.
