You mean C.R.A.P. - right ??

(I'm trying to be sure to get that in on every post whenever possible when speaking of lil brother's coach these days)

No way. Pitino hit the lottery landing Corky Jeing, Siva and Russ. That was lighting in a bottle. In all honesty, I'll be surprised if he find any success from now until his retirement. He just cant recruit with the big fellas.

Nope. Rick's best days are behind him. He's not going to coach for maybe, maybe, another 6-8 years. He caught lightning in a bottle with Hancock and Dieng. He won't get the recruits needed to win consistently against Dook and UNC***. Their cupboard is getting bare, there's not much coming in to refill it, and after this year when Harrell and Rozier leave, they will be lucky to make the NIT.

Aint happening as long as Duke, UNCheat, ESPN and paid referees exist. UofL is on the bottom of the ACC totem pole. They just dont know it yet.

I hate Rick Pitino, the guy can coach though. However his best team that won a title had one guy, he scouted, recruited, and signed. Peyton Siva. Everyone else literally fell into his lap. Dieng signed as back up plan and Pitino only saw and offered him because he was recruiting Justin Coleman who signed and then never made it to school. Russ Smith was on a team with another player and Ralph Willard and Masiello pitched him to Pitino. He then tried to run Russ off when Masiello took the Manhattan job and he Masiello again talked Rick and Russ into him staying. Luke Hancock transferred because Jim Larranaga left George Mason to take the Miami job and Kevin Keatts his prep school coach was on Rick's staff, almost the exact same for Montrezl, Seth Greenberg is fired and Kevin Keatts Montrez's prep school coach brings him to UL. Chane Behanan didn't like being 2nd fiddle to our 2011 class so he signed with UL.

So this year after Montrezl, Rozier, Blackshear, and Jones leave, I'm not sure what in the hell they are going to do. Donovan Mitchell is a good player and Deng Adel has the potential but the run they've been on the last 3 years is over and it isn't anywhere that level again for a while. So long story short no ACC titles unless the ACC starts to suck.

And tanking in the ACC after a cupcake non-conf schedule doesn't inspire recruits...

That Egyptian player that plays for the tards is the biggest buffoon. What a clown. Their roster is garbage next year.

Half their roster will turn out to be an An All-American. They're really convinced.

Also, they'll always have 4 white guys and an Egyptian.

Hey, it's possible. Consider this scenario:

K retires and Duke can't decide which of his assistants to promote. Chaos ensues. Recruiting tanks.UNC*** gets major probation, Roy leaves in shame. Recruiting tanks.Bennett takes the job at Wisconsin when Bo Ryan retires. UVA reverts to the mean of recent years.Larranaga (sp?) retires at Miami.Boeheim never assembles another decent squad, kind of like this year.Notre Dame goes on self-imposed probation for academic fraud.Manning never puts together a decent team at Wake.Gottfried continues to be Gottfried. The remaining teams in the ACC continue the status quo.Pitino coaches UL until he's 80.
See, it could happen.

I hate UofL as much as the next guy, but wow, step back from the ledge with the homerism.

Dude is a hall of fame coach, has top 3 winning percent in ncaa tourney for active coaches (behind Cal)
Has multiple FF and 2 rings. UofL is not even 2 years away from a NC.

Dude has proven over and over he can coach. Don't mirror the stupidity of the cards board.

maybe, maybe not, but i wouldn't buy into any reasoning posted on this forum. it's the same place where everyone posted their title team a couple of years ago didn't have enough offense to win the title and numerous other reasons they were deficient. it's called blind hatred.
