Random thoughts:

- Will he finish the season averaging more than 30 PPG?

- Will he finish the season leading the nation in both PPG & APG?

- How many 40-point games will he have had by the end of the year?

- Will OU do better, the same, or worse than 6-3 over the 2nd half of the conference season?

- How far does OU have to go in the NCAA Tournament for the year to feel like a success?

And the biggest question of them all...

- How far will OU go in the NCAA Tournament?

Answer one, some, all or none. Just some topics I’ve pondered today.

Looking at the remaining games - four in Norman, 5 on the road - I'm thinking OU could go 6-3 at best, possibly 5-4. Trae will have a tough time finishing the season with 30 ppg, but I'm thinking he will have the best ppg and apg numbers at season's end. I know it's a lot to ask, but with 9 regular season games left, I'd love to see more guys getting involved in the offense and take some of the pressure off Trae to score 30 points every game.

Last year OU did not make the NCAA tourney and I believe they were picked to finish 6th in the B12. This year, so far, they've exceeded my expectations. if OU makes it to the Elite 8, that would be outstanding, but I'm thinking they'll make it to the Sweet 16.

He should close out strong. Hope the rest of team digs in for this Feb. push. Hoping we can learn to hold leads in games down the stretch and into tourneys.
