Nope. Can't happen, because we won't be the underdogs.

And we won't lose the game either.

Lighten up, you are going downhill fast, used to be one of my favorite posters. The sun will come up tomorrow, we will beat Charlotte, (and Shirley too if she fools with us) and if we can put our game together we can beat UL also, definitely had more talent than Vandy IMO, just made a lot of stupid mistakes. If the one grade school play that has nothing to do with football (and that was outlawed in high school decades ago for that very reason) hadn't scored and the totally unexplainable play where the receivers toe came down inside the end zone (NOTHING mattered after that, who cares where the heel was?) that no one contested hadn't gone against us we would have won the game.

How do you think Boise State felt losing to a thirty point underdog at home, and BYU had their five gme winning streak snapped by mighty mizzou, that we beat. Football isn't for the faint of heart.

We will be back, the new support and talent says so. If Stoops does get fired he will leave us some great (for Us) young talent that will attract a better coach. And I haven't given up on Stoops yet, he has done miracles with our main problem, lack of raw talent.

That is if all the fans don't throw in the towel.

I read this and I can only shake my head. You checked every box to be crowned chief apologist.

It's just going to come down to Loserville yet again. But at least we know they are beatable. And we have them at home.
I'm going to wait it out and see how the rest of the season pans out first

Yeah we had better talent than Vanderbilt but horrible coaching. Coaching staff is a joke. Time for assistants to be fired starting with that fraud Elliott. Can't stand that punk.

Our out-of-conference schedule is softer than a fluffy kitten on a feather pillow. I don't think there is any way we lose to Charlotte. Bowl eligibility will be on the line against the dirty birds.

This should win dumbest post of the year. People like the OP should be banned for bringing no substance to the board.

With our coaching staff and players looking like the Keystone Cops, I am on the fence about us beating Charlotte. It's gonna be a tight, epic battle to the end, but I think we edge them out in the end.

In fact, I'll go out on a limb here and predict that we'll take it.....27-21 in a thriller!!!!

I agree that the trick play is bush league even though it's legal. Also thought his toe touched in the end zone, but by rule it may have been the correct call. Was very surprised that it wasn't at least reviewed.

Those who don't understand sarcasm should be banned IMO.

If you think the OP was 100% serious, then I'm not sure what to tell you. I was simply making a joke about how bad we've played.

And when coupled with the way they are playing and the way we are playing, they are going to beat us like a bad rug.

I thought we had a shot against them a few weeks back but they've found their QB. They'll knock us around for sure

The real question is, what will the attendance be?

Should be interesting...

A cold night game in November after losing to a bad Vandy team could result in a half empty stadium. I really think this is a game we should easily win, so hopefully low attendance won't matter.

The actual attendance with people in seats or the phony "paid" inflated number that is always proudly announced at the end of games?

Actual people in seats will be around 20K. Would you pay to go see our blooper-fest of a team try to play football?

That play was legal in college and for the same reason is legal still in high school. Key to it is that the player who lines up wide has to be inside the numbers AFTER the ready-for-play whistle. It works best when you're sending in one unit and another is coming off -- like on a FG attempt or Punt. I've never thought of doing it out of a timeout but kudos to them for doing it that way.
